Abstract

A device receivable by a PCMCIA standard slot in a host system is so configured mechanically and electrically as to be orientation-independent, that is, fully insertable in the host system slot and operable to transfer information to and from the host system whether inserted in said slot in a first or right side up orientation or in a second or upside down orientation.
