Abstract

La présente invention vise à vérifier la présence et l'authenticité d'articles importants protégés et plus spécialement d'articles à usage technique. Selon l'invention, le procédé consiste à monter un émetteur-récepteur miniaturisé (une étiquette électronique) dans une partie de la surface de l'objet à vérifier. Le code d'identification de cette étiquette électronique est formé directement pendant l'interrogation de l'émetteur-récepteur, sur la base des informations relatives à la partie de surface sur laquelle il est monté. Ces informations peuvent se présenter comme un microrelief de la partie de surface, transformé en un ensemble de signaux électriques qui forment le code d'identification. Le procédé de l'invention permet de vérifier à distance la présence et l'authenticité d'un objet avec un degré de certitude élevé, et ce grâce au fait que la formation du code d'identification authentique est étroitement liée à l'emplacement du repère électronique.
