Abstract

L'invention concerne une nouvelle technique d'évolution des courbes exprimée dans un cadre d'ensembles de niveaux (Fig. 1, 1-2) et utilisée pour réaliser un enregistrement d'images. La mise en oeuvre de cette technique est fondée sur l'observation selon laquelle une transformation de coordonnées entre deux images données peut être réalisée par découverte d'une correspondance appropriée (Fig. 1, 4) entre deux fonctions d'intensité d'images. Par conséquent, on réalise une mise au point d'ensembles de niveaux d'une image dans les ensembles de niveaux de l'autre image. Pour estimer la déformation entre les images, on dérive un modèle de mouvement d'ensembles de niveaux permettant d'obtenir le flux optique entre les images dans certaines conditions. Une équation pouvant être utilisée pour calculer le flux optique est une équation différentielle partielle (PDE) hyperbolique non linéaire, à savoir une nouvelle formulation destinée à résoudre le problème associé au flux optique dans une vision artificielle. Un procédé destiné à la réalisation d'un enregistrement d'images multimodales consiste à établir une correspondance entre des représentations d'images de fréquence locale. Ce procédé consiste à réduire, sur toutes les transformations affines, la valeur probable de la différence au carré entre les représentations de fréquence locale des images source et cible. Dans le cas où la fusion des données multimodales requiert une estimation des déformations non rigides, on peut recourir à une technique nouvelle et rapide de morphage fondée sur l'équation PDE et permettant d'estimer un alignement non rigide.
