- US Patents 4,227,692 of 10/14/80 of Castelli that points to the double striking surface, but remains fixed to the racket-handle concept; 5,018,732 of 05/28/91 of Kraemer, which advances by incorporating the palm-back concept, 5,839,979 of 10/24/98, incorporating the previous concept, becomes a widened bat of more flexible material than the wood, and that is still linked to the idea of how to hold a racket or bat.
- the present invention represents a new field and offers multiple alternatives and developments derived directly from it. It starts from turning the hand itself into a hitting device, following the nature of it, and where both the grip and the contact surfaces are part of a single hitting system, just as in tennis rackets, In addition to the string and frame, the handle is part, thanks to its flexible-elastic configuration, of the drive system.
- the striking palm artifact adjustable to the palm of the hand is composed of two striking surfaces sufficiently rigid in the bottom to favor the elasticity of the shock, mainly with a ball, said device having preferably a size similar to that of the palm of the hand , as for the width, and from the thumb joint to the end of the first phalanx of the central fingers, as for the length, firmly attached (sewn or attached, eg) to a semi-mitten preferably open by the extreme part of the fingers, in order to ensure adequate ventilation, and also
- SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) preferably open by the thumb and the opposite lower part of the hand -Fig.ly 2, eg -, and also preferably attached to the wrist in order to guarantee the stability of the striking surfaces during hand movements and, especially at the time of the beating.

- the third is impact cushioning, in order to avoid pain.
- the fourth is of impulse, since it would be harmless to waste the energy that the ball brings, so the material must have elastic properties such that after the impact, -Fig. 4-, when recovering its original position, return all possible energy to the element that hit it, mainly a ball.

- its dimensions will vary depending on comfort, fit, protection, etc., being irrelevant if they form a single body with the main part of the semi-mitten, -Fig. 10-, or are sewn.
- the latter is only of economic importance, since all the above functions do not need to fulfill the material of these straps and it will depend on whether you want to protect the hand, the pattern used, of ratios, such as the cost of material against labor, available machinery etc. .
- These straps consist of a Sailboat system indicated by D and E in Fig. 8.
- the long webbing is intended to wrap the wrist, as shown in Figures 12 and 13, and it has a Sailboat on both sides, the side E being the elements hard and external with respect to the surrounding wrist, and the soft side the final section of the other, as shown by E, which also indicates where the sailboat system element of the other webbing would be located, which in the preferred embodiment is wider.

- the latter would reflect a continuous semi-mitten up to the wrist, with openings in the thumb and lower part, and whose adjustment is produced thanks to the elasticity of the material that composes it, neoprene or simile, in addition to a somewhat more aggressive design in appearance in the semi-mitten, in the area of the fingers.
- the first two illustrations show a similar method, in which the tape around the wrist is made of another material with better adjustment properties or simply cheaper. It could also be fixed with Sailboat, above or below, and constituting two different textile pieces (wrist and semi-mitt adjustment), or be larger, reaching the periphery of the striking surfaces, at the height of the thumb.

Abstract
The invention relates to a striking device that can be adjusted to the palm of the hand as shown in Fig. 1. Said device consists of a semi-mitten enveloping the hand and fitted to said hand and the wrist. Two striking surfaces on the inside and back of the hand are attached to said device thus converting it into a striking instrument that can be used in practicing variants of racket and/or paddle sports such as off-the-wall ball games, paddle tennis and others depending on the appropriate court ball and device and applying the same game rules. There are various forms to adjust the device to the wrist and hand as well as various options to configure the striking surface.
Description
ARTEFACTO DE GOLPEO AJUSTABLE A LA PALMA DE LA MANO ADJUSTABLE HIT TO THE PALM OF THE HAND
The present invention relates to an adjustable beating device to the palm of the hand for use primarily with balls, also admitting similar elements, such as a badminton pen. The purpose of the device is to convert the same palm into a striking element with which various sports and games of racket and / or paddles can be practiced, with the appropriate ball for track, place, and artifact, and even maintaining the same rules. These could include, for example, paddle-tennis, racquet-ball, squash, table tennis, pediment ..., or those derived from the invention itself, such as the hand-ball whose birth runs similar to that of the invention. In the field of sports and racket or shovel games, it has several advantages over current hit systems based on these technologies, the most obvious being that of facilitating the hit of the ball, by avoiding the mental calculation of ball position and racket at the time of the crash, since the situation of the palm is always known in an instinctive way. Its small size also facilitates its transport and supposes less quantity of material necessary for its manufacture.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓNBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Perhaps its most primary antecedent is the practice of the pediment by hand, from some children with a wall, to the professionalism of the Basque ball. However, this limb has several limitations, from the pain itself, to its inelasticity in the collision with a ball, since it absorbs a large part of its energy without returning it. This implies making a double effort; stop the ball on arrival, and boost it again. To alleviate these two main defects, and others, a multitude of technologies and inventions have been developed, such as baseball bats or paddle-tennis rackets. The latest trends sought not only to improve the striking capabilities, but also to discover new grip systems for these rackets. In this sense, when conducting the search, interesting antecedents have been found, although always linked to the concept of racket or shovel held by one or two hands. Several stand out as the U.S. Patents and Des .; 5,842,896, 1,558,666 of 10/27/25, 4,757,996 of 07/19/88, 4,516,774 of 05/14/85, 4,148,483 of 04/10/79, 4,676,505 of 30 / 06/87, 2,952,021 of 13/09/60, Des.360.920 of 01/08/95, Des.291.907 of 09/15/87, Des.337.631 of 06/20/93, Des.383.180 of 02 / 09/97, Des.258.000 of 01/20/81, although they always revolve on it
How to hold or grab avoiding the handle. In the same sense, but more interesting, we find the US Patents: 4,227,692 of 10/14/80 of Castelli that points to the double striking surface, but remains fixed to the racket-handle concept; 5,018,732 of 05/28/91 of Kraemer, which advances by incorporating the palm-back concept, 5,839,979 of 10/24/98, incorporating the previous concept, becomes a widened bat of more flexible material than the wood, and that is still linked to the idea of how to hold a racket or bat. However, the one that has been most attractive in the search for possible antecedents is that of Wellen, 5,549,294 of 08/27/96, who inspired by table tennis, as reflected in the patent text, thought a system thinking in that sport, whose result is pointed out that it could be used in other sports Unlike the classic mango developments, such as the PCT W099 / 15244, the idea is a more natural finger coupling, although it is still linked to the classic technology of two attached fixed rackets and a grip system, so that its development does not leave of being a new method to hold a double racket. Perhaps it would need further refinements in its development to achieve success, which so far have not achieved any of the references found during the search, since there is no knowledge, not only of its widespread use, but even of significant presence.
In general, in the practice of ball hit sports, it is still linked to the idea of grabbing something to hit with. The present invention represents a new field and offers multiple alternatives and developments derived directly from it. It starts from turning the hand itself into a hitting device, following the nature of it, and where both the grip and the contact surfaces are part of a single hitting system, just as in tennis rackets, In addition to the string and frame, the handle is part, thanks to its flexible-elastic configuration, of the drive system.
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL INVENTODESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
El artefacto de golpeo ajustable a la palma de la mano esta compuesto por dos superficies de golpe suficientemente rígidas en fondo como para favorecer la elasticidad del choque, principalmente con una pelota, teniendo dicho artefacto preferentemente de un tamaño similar al de la palma de la mano, en cuanto al ancho, y desde la articulación del pulgar hasta el final de la primera falange de los dedos centrales, en cuanto al largo, firmemente sujetas (cosido o adherido, p.ej.) a una semi-manopla preferentemente abierta por la parte extrema de los dedos, a fin de garantizar una adecuada ventilación, y tambiénThe striking palm artifact adjustable to the palm of the hand is composed of two striking surfaces sufficiently rigid in the bottom to favor the elasticity of the shock, mainly with a ball, said device having preferably a size similar to that of the palm of the hand , as for the width, and from the thumb joint to the end of the first phalanx of the central fingers, as for the length, firmly attached (sewn or attached, eg) to a semi-mitten preferably open by the extreme part of the fingers, in order to ensure adequate ventilation, and also
Un ejemplo de material sería un neopreno o afín.SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) preferably open by the thumb and the opposite lower part of the hand -Fig.ly 2, eg -, and also preferably attached to the wrist in order to guarantee the stability of the striking surfaces during hand movements and, especially at the time of the beating. The material that wraps the hand and holds the surfaces, is preferably breathable and elastic, to improve the fit. In addition, and this is a capital piece of the invention, it is part of the ball hitting system, having sufficient firmness to have adequate absorption-return energy capacity in the crash so as to jointly with the striking surfaces project the energy that It brings with it the ball, also adding the one that the carrier of the device wants to add (hand mass, applied force ...), while maintaining control over the trajectory and effects of said ball. An example of material would be a neoprene or related.
As for the dimensions of the striking surfaces, their recommended size, smaller compared to current systems, may seem a disadvantage, especially at the beginning of the practice, as it is common to be accustomed to hitting with larger and more distant surfaces. This is only an initial effect, which disappears quickly with use. In fact, the artifact naturalizes sports practice by identifying palm with impact, facilitating the mental calculation of ball / artifact position, and contributes to a greater extent to improve the real coordination (eyes-hands ...) of who plays sports with the present invention , regarding who does it using instruments with handles and / or larger contact surfaces. In addition, stability problems are improved in terms of shocks in extreme parts of the contact surface, by eliminating the lever effect that occurs on the hand and / or wrist when the ball hits an end that does not have the direct support of the manual dough Obviously, the lower the mass and solidity of the ball, the less this effect will be, to the point that, as in table tennis, it will be minimal and negligible. Even when the semi-mitten configuration is considered the most appropriate, in the case of climates with extremely low temperatures, or in the case of children or others, it could be a closed mitt or glove.

OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Figures 1 and 2 show a preferred embodiment, the main one being detailed below, shown in Figs. 12 and 13. The artifact in question consists of two striking surfaces subject to a semi-mitt that partially wraps the hand and that consists of a fastening and adjustment system for the wrist -Figs. 8.12 yl3-. As a ball, in general, not specialized and open, current fast bounce or racquet-ball are recommended, although it is clear that further development will require specific models and materials. This does not imply that it can be used with other types of elements, such as badminton pens.
El control sobre el objeto que impacta se obtendría con una superficie B rugosa, aun cuando se considera menos eficaz queSaid striking surfaces are in turn composed of two bodies or materials, according to figure 7, where C represents a solid and sufficiently rigid material of synthetic material, preferably as resins or plastics, the injection being more efficient on mold. One of its faces is fixed to the mitten. This can be done by chemical bonding, such as bonding, ultrasound, thermal etc. In the main preferred embodiment, this fixation is achieved by sewing conveniently distributed eyelashes, which form a single body with the rigid surface and protrude from the striking body, as shown by way of example in Fig. 6. On the external face, adheres another surface of elastic material, Fig. 7-B, such as the usual compounds and / or gums on the outer face of the smooth ping-pong rackets, and whose main purpose is to provide control over the ball. A type of surface similar to that of paddle rackets could also be tested, where the exterior B would be a semi-rigid surface, and C would be softer or even non-existent if the thickness and capacities of the semi-mitten material described by way of example a Then let it be. Control over the impacting object would be obtained with a rough surface B, even if it is considered less effective than

As for the size, they could extend longitudinally, but across the hand would limit its use to sports with low energy balls.
Su destino es mejorar el ajuste en esa zona, además ambos bordes tenderían con el uso aThe semi-mitten on which the striking surfaces are fixed are of paramount importance, since they must fulfill a fourfold function. The first is of adjustment at hand, so the materials and design must take into account factors such as possible allergies, perspiration, blood circulation. The second is fixation of the striking surfaces, so it must be resistant, especially to traction. The third is impact cushioning, in order to avoid pain. The fourth is of impulse, since it would be stupid to waste the energy that the ball brings, so the material must have elastic properties such that after the impact, -Fig. 4-, when recovering its original position, return all possible energy to the element that hit it, mainly a ball. In this sense, neoprene, or similar textile compounds, would preferably be used as material. The shape indicated in Figure 8 shows the preferred design. The two straps that protrude on the lower side will be responsible for adjusting the semi-mitten to the wrist. For the purpose of use its dimensions will vary depending on comfort, fit, protection, etc., being irrelevant if they form a single body with the main part of the semi-mitten, -Fig. 10-, or are sewn. The latter is only of economic importance, since all the above functions do not need to fulfill the material of these straps and it will depend on whether you want to protect the hand, the pattern used, of ratios, such as the cost of material against labor, available machinery etc. . These straps consist of a Sailboat system indicated by D and E in Fig. 8. The long webbing is intended to wrap the wrist, as shown in Figures 12 and 13, and it has a Sailboat on both sides, the side E being the elements hard and external with respect to the surrounding wrist, and the soft side the final section of the other, as shown by E, which also indicates where the sailboat system element of the other webbing would be located, which in the preferred embodiment is wider. Its adjustment is made by surrounding the wrist, starting at the top, with the long webbing, fixing it on the same face from which it started, and reaching it from below, -Figs.12 and 13 -. Subsequently, the shorter webbing is adjusted on the Sailboat, either on the same side, Fig. 12, or around the upper part, Fig. 13. The latter is especially recommended in the main embodiment. Figure 9 shows an added recommendation that joins both sides of the mitten on the side of the fingers, in this case between the ring and the heart, although several could be worn. Its destiny is to improve the adjustment in that area, in addition both edges would tend with the use to

Its location is also found in Figs. 8 and 11 as two small and symmetrical dotted rectangles.
As optional preferred embodiments, figures 1,2 and 14 are shown. The latter would reflect a continuous semi-mitten up to the wrist, with openings in the thumb and lower part, and whose adjustment is produced thanks to the elasticity of the material that composes it, neoprene or simile, in addition to a somewhat more aggressive design in appearance in the semi-mitten, in the area of the fingers. The first two illustrations show a similar method, in which the tape around the wrist is made of another material with better adjustment properties or simply cheaper. It could also be fixed with Sailboat, above or below, and constituting two different textile pieces (wrist and semi-mitt adjustment), or be larger, reaching the periphery of the striking surfaces, at the height of the thumb.
From all of the above, advantages emerge over previous embodiments, some of which are listed below; comfort of use, since it allows the light and natural bending of the digital joints; easy transport; naturalness in the use that prevents malformations such as tennis elbow; fun, since it allows the use of multiple tracks, places and game forms, depending only on the type of projectile chosen; economic efficiency given its relative simplicity and low need for materials, and above all, simplicity in learning, making it more complicated for people accustomed to playing racket sports, than for total rookies. In fact, preliminary tests have found that it was easier to learn to hit successfully with this device than with certain types of racket.
Even when what is considered preferred embodiments of the invention has been described, it is natural to infer that various modifications can be made in form or detail, dimensions, materials and other accessory aspects without departing from the object of the invention and inspired by the spirit thereof. . In fact, what has been exposed here must be interpreted not in the exact and strict sense, but in a broad and open way, taking into account that the essentiality of the invention itself refers.
