Abstract

The invention relates to electric machines, in particular to electric motors and can be used for developing and operating engines based on the tooth harmonic of a magnetic field. Th inventive electric motor comprises a stator provided with pronounced poles with teeth embodied on the internal surface thereof, a m-phase winding embodied in the form of 2mp coils which are arranged on the poles, a commutator device and a gear rotor. Each phase of the m-phase winding comprises two parallel branches. First ends of the first branches of each phase are series-connected to the positive pole of a power supply with the aid of control keys, first ends of the second branches of each phase being series-connected to the negative pole of the power supply. Second ends of all first and all second branches are two star-connected. The zero points of the stars are connected with the aid of a wire which shorts them to each other. Each branch comprises p coils in parallel or series connected. The number of teeth of the rotor is defined by the following relation: Zz = 2mp(Zs+K)+/-(2m+/-1), where: Zz = the number of teeth of the rotor, m = the number of phases of the ac power supply, where m 2, 3, 4..., p = the number of pairs of poles of the winding, Zs = the number of teeth on a pole tip, K = the number of teeth which can be additionally arranged on the pole tip.
