Abstract

Selon l'invention, l'unité thermoélectrique de refroidissement d'air est constituée de modules thermiques (dispositifs utilisant l'effet Peltier), les surfaces actives de chaque module étant en contact avec l'élément d'absorption et l'élément de transfert. Les modules thermiques sont disposés sur une plaque et forment une pile thermique. Pendant le fonctionnement du dispositif, on alimente la pile thermique en courant continu pour transférer la chaleur depuis l'élément d'absorption jusqu'à l'élément de transfert. De ce fait, l'élément d'absorption, qui peut être disposé dans une chambre isolée, est refroidi, et l'élément de transfert est réchauffé. La chaleur est évacuée depuis l'élément de transfert au moyen d'un radiateur muni de plusieurs nervures et d'un ventilateur. L'élément d'absorption est également muni de nervures et d'un ventilateur. Des moyens d'isolation permettent de prévenir les pertes de chaleur; en outre, l'unité comprend une unité de commande et des moyens de compensation des changements thermiques de la taille géométrique des modules thermiques et des éléments structurels de l'unité disposés autour de ces derniers. L'unité thermoélectrique de refroidissement d'air proposée dans cette invention se distingue des modèles existants par sa construction originale, déterminée par la présence de nouveaux éléments de construction, à savoir des moyens de montage de modules thermiques dans la pile thermique et des moyens de compensation des changements thermiques de la taille géométrique des éléments structurels de l'unité.
