Abstract

L'invention concerne des sels de 1,7-diarylpentaméthine et de 1,9-diarylheptaméthine, notamment des sels de carboxonium heptacarbonés ou nonacarbonés, et des streptocyanines. Les composés répondent à la formule [G-D-G']+ Q- dans laquelle Q est un anion d'un acide fort, et- G et G' représentent indépendamment l'un de l'autre un groupe OEt, amino, hydrazono, hydrazino, phosphaimino, amidino ou guanidino; ou un radical multivalent éventuellement relié à au moins l'une de ses autres extrémités à un autre groupe D; - D représente un groupement cationique 1,7-diarylpentaméthine ou 1,9-diarylheptaméthine dans lequel les groupes aryles portent des substituants représentant indépendamment les uns des autres un hydrogène, un halogène, un radical alkyle ou un radical alkyloxy ayant de 1 à 15 atomes de carbone ou un groupe acétamido CH¿3?C(O)HN-.
