Description
Air refresher box for cars
A box for refresher, to be installed on the air inlet grid in the car in order to let the incoming air mix with the smell of aromatic cube put into this container, is the object of this utility pattern claim.
The aromatic cube is known from the Polish utility model claim registered under the number W-108 942, whose short description has been published in the Polish Patent Office Bulletin r 11/99 page 74. This cube is formed as a disk with an aromatic element inside and is composed of a mount and a lid. The both parts are tied circularly together by the screws placed in the sink head of the lid and in die jointing sleeve of the mount composed of a plate with a wafer core, inlet holes and two pairs of joggles. The lid has the side plane with two longtudinal nicks on its perimeter.
According to the utility pattern the car air refresher is constructed of two parts placed one into another. Seen from the front side, the box has an irregular shape reminding a stylized drop. The lid fixed on the mount as well as mount itself have the rims curved and rounded. The lid rim has in its curved part a circumferential recess forming a downthrow whereas the curved rim of the mount is lengthened by an edge placing thus the downthrown between the edge and the remainig part. Thanks to
the downthrown in the lid and to the edge in the mount the both parts are solidle joined together. In accordance with the pattern the box lid has in its broadened part some holes of irregular shape and side walls, irregular as well. They are inscribed inside the circle where in the bottom side of the lid a mandrel is axially fixed. In the bottom part of the box there are holes inscribed in the circle. In this circle axis there is a spline formed by two half-rings. The hole formed inside those half-rings is foreseen to house the mandrel end fixed in the inner part of the lid. In the narrower part of the lid and the mount there are holes. On the inner side of the lid, in the narrowed part with holes, there are vertical splines fixing the aromatic plate. On the mandrel solidly fixed to the lid a vane is placed. The vane starts to rotate once being installed on the air outlet duct. Thanks to extremely well polished surface of the ring put on the mandrel the vane turns smoothly, catching out air particles of the aromatic cube. In the outer face of the mount there is a racess with a clip to enable fixing the box to the grid covering air outlet in the car. A better fixing of the both parts of the box is ensured by the bolts installed inside.
Thanks to the construction described above there may be a nice scent in a car. The way of fixing the box on the grid does not hamper the use of the vehicle. The box practically takes no place. The vane rotating inside enables a continuous flow of air saturated with aroma.
The object of utility pattern has been presented on the annexed drawing, where fig.1 - presents the box in a perspective view, whereas fig.2 - a section of both parts.
According to the utility pattern the box for car aroma is constructed of two parts articulated on into another. Seen from the front side, the box has an irregular shape, reminding a stylized drop. The lid 1 articulated on a mount 2 and the mount 2 itself have curved and rounded rims. The rim 3 of the lid 1 has inside its curved part a circumferential
racess forming a downthrow 4 whereas the curved rim 5 of the mount 2 is lengthened by an edge 6 and between the edge 6 and the remaining part there is a downthrow 6A. Thanks to the downthrow 4 in the lid 1 and the remainig part there is a downthrow A. Thanks to the downthrow 4 in the lid 1 and to the edge 6 in the mount 2 the both parts, the lid 1 and the mount 2_are joined together. The box lid 1 has in its broadened part 7 some holes 8 of irregular shape and irregular side walls. They are inscribed inside the circle where in the bottom side of the lid 1 a mandrel 9 is axially fixed. A metal ring 10 polished to the mirror class surfaces finish is articulated on the mandrel 9. In the broadened bottom part 2 of the box there are holes 11 inscribed in the circle. In this circle axis there is a spline 12 formed by two half-ring. The hole 13 situated between those half-ring is foressen to house the end of a mandrel 6 fixed solidly in me -inner, part of the lid 1. In the narrower part of the lid 1 and of the mount 2 there are holes 14. On the inner side of the lid 1, in the narrowed part 15 with holes 14, there are vertical splines 16 fixing the aromatic plate 17 saturated with aroma. On the mandrel 9 solidly fixed to the lid 1 a vane 18 is placed. The vane 18 starts to rotate once being installed on the air outlet duct. Thanks to the polished ring 10, the vane turns smoothly, catching out air particles of the aromatic cube. In the outer face of the mount 2_there is a racess 19 with a clip 20 to enable fixing the box to the grid covering air outlet in the car. The bolts 21 installed inside ensure a better fixing of the both parts of the box.
