Description

TITLE OF THE INVENTION
SHOCK-ABSORBING SHOES
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to Shock-absorbing Shoes which are designed to reduce and absorb the shock given to the people during their walk, consequently relieving the pain from a long hours of walk and improving health of the people who wear them. In order to achieve the aforementioned purposes, the shock-absorbing part of the present invention is made of such thin and hard materials as thermal-compressed elastic and light-weight dried wood, spring metal sheet and hardened synthetic resin. The shock-absorbing parts are provided on the middle of the sole, back of the sole or between the sole and the sole pad to effectively absorb the shock transferred to the back and other parts of the body of the people during their walk so that they feel comfortable during their long hours of walk.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to Shock-absorbing Shoes which are worn to the human feet. More specifically, the present invention relates to shock-absorbing shoes that are worn on the human feet and that provide shock-absorption for a wearer. In order to effectively achieve the aforementioned purposes, the absorbing part of the present invention made of such thin and hard materials as thermal-compressed elastic and light -weight dried wood, spring metal sheet and hardened synthetic resin is provided on the middle of the sole, back of the sole or between the sole and the sole pad to effectively absorb the shock transferred to the back and other parts of the body of the wearers. According to the research studies related to the human feet, more than 40% of the weight of people is pressed down on the rear heel and 35% of the weight is distributed to the toes while the rest of the weight is distributed to other parts of the sole. Therefore, the weight of the walker is pressed down to a specific part of the sole depending on how the person walks, exercises or stands. The shock is transferred to the brain through the sole, heel and back of the wearer of shoes and the pain caused by long hours of walk create many different types of diseases and such other adverse effects as back pain and memory-loss to the people who wear shoes that are not provided with shock-absorbing system.
Many type of shoes such as dress shoes, sneakers, walking shoes, etc. presently available on the market all over the world are designed to provide some level of shock- absorption for the wearers. According to the similar types of Korean patent Nos. 91- 1212 and 97-04363, the shoes from these inventions provide air ventilation and air- pumping functions and comfortable feeling to the wears of them, but they cannot protect the wearer against injury resulting from impact of the wearer's feet on a floor or other hard surfaces.
To solve the foregoing, the present invention is designed to lose and absorb shock in the shoe so that the wearer can feel comfortable and protect his/her body from injury.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION As described, the purpose of the present invention is to provide shock- absorbing in the shoes to protect the wearer from injury. Shock-absorbing materials are provided in the middle of the sole, back of the sole or between the sole and the sole pad to effectively absorb the shock pressed down to the back and other parts of the body of the people during their walk so that they feel comfortable during their long hours of walk, without injury or pain. As the absorbing part of the present invention is made of such thin and hard materials as thermal-compressed elastic and light-weight dried wood, spring metal sheet and hardened synthetic resin, it provides and maintains constant resilience without distortion.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
As seen in Fig. 1, dress shoes or sneakers are composed of outer cover, middle sole, bottom sole, sole pad and heel. The shock-absorbing part (4) is consisted of refractions (3), (3a),(3b) and (3c) provided on the middle sole (1) and heel (2) or under the sole pad (6).
The polyurethane insert (7) is inserted between the middle sole (1) and sole pad (6) to enhance the shock-absorbing function. The said shock-absorbing part (4) is made of thin and hard materials such as thermal- compressed elastic and light-weight dried wood, spring metal sheet and hardened synthetic resin. The said shock-absorbing part (4) is provided between the said middle sole (1) and heel (2) or between the said middle sole (1) and sole pad (6) whichever is proper through the means thermal treatment or high-frequency heating. When the weight is pressed down during walk, the said refractions (3), (3a), (3b) and (3c) slightly refract and absorb the shock.
Referring now to Fig. 2, the front side and back side of the said shock-absorbing part (4) is closed and one of said refractions (3) is provided to it so that the said one of said refractions (3) changes to (a) or (b) to absorb the shock when the weight is pressed down to the feet of the wearer of the present invention.
Referring now to Fig. 3, although both front side and back side of the said shock- absorbing part (4) is closed as in Fig. 2, the overall part of the refraction (3) refracts when the weight is pressed down to the feet of the wearer of the present invention.
Referring now to Fig. 4, although both front side and back side of the said shock- absorbing part (4) is closed, the said refractions (3) and (3a) refract to the outward when the weight is pressed down to the feet of the wearer of the present invention to absorb the shock. Referring now to Fig. 5, the front part of the said shock-absorbing part (4) is closed and its back part is provided with said open hole (5). The said open hole (5) is pressed down to absorb the shock when the weight is pressed down to it.
Referring now to Fig. 6, although both front side and back side of the said shock- absorbing part (4) is closed as in Fig. 4, the said refraction (3) refracts to the outward when the weight is pressed down to it while the other part of the said refraction (3a) refracts to the inward and the another part of the said refraction (3b) refracts to outward to provide effective shock-absorbing function to the wearer of the present invention.
Referring now to Fig. 7, the opening hole (5a) is open on the top area of the said shock- absorbing part (4) and its back part is closed by the said refraction (3). The lower area of the said opening hole (5a) is closed so that it may be properly pressed to absorb the shock when the weight is pressed down to it.
Referring now to Fig. 8, the said shock-absorbing part (4) is in the form of a revered "S" whose top of the front part is provided with open hole (5a) and its lower part is closed with the said refraction (3) so that the said open holes (5) and (5a) are extended to absorb the shock when the weight is pressed down to it.
Referring now to Fig. 9, the said shock-absorbing part (4) is refracted to the outward due to the weight pressed by the said refractions (3) and (3a). The said refractions (3b) and (3c) refract to the inward so that an effective shock-absorbing functions is provided as in Fig. 6. Referring now to Fig. 10, the said shock-absorbing part (4) is provided on the top of the center of the space (8) where toes of the wearer of the present invention are fit in it between the said middle sole (1) and sole pad (6). Elastic sponge or polyurethane insert (7) is inserted in the space on the surrounding area of the said shock-absorbing part (4) to enhance the shock-absorbing effect.
Referring now to Fig. 11, the said shock-absorbing part (4) is also provided on the heel between the said middle sole (1) and sole pad (6) with the same manner as in Fig. 10. The said polyurethane insert (7) is inserted in the said space (8) surrounding said shock- absorbing part (4) to effectively absorb the shock pressed down to the heel.
Referring now to Fig. 12, the said shock-absorbing part (4) is provided on the space where the toes of the wearer are in and on the said space (8) on the heel area in order to achieve the results as in Figs. 10 and 11. The said polyurethane insert (7) is inserted on the surrounding of the said space (8) to absorb the shock pressed down to the front and rear part of the feet of the wearer of the present invention.
While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described, it is not intended to be limited to the details above since it will be understood that various modifications and changes as well as substitutions can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the sprit and object of the present invention.
