Abstract

L'invention concerne la mise en évidence d'un évènement en même temps que l'occurrence de l'évènement dans un système client-serveur. Des données associées à l'évènement sont utilisées pour rechercher des moyens de mise en évidence particuliers. Par exemple, si l'évènement est une rencontre sportive, les données secondaires peuvent être des statistiques compilées au cours du jeu. Au fur et à mesure de sa progression, l'évènement est enregistré, et l'enregistrement est segmenté afin de faciliter sa distribution. Cette segmentation peut être basée sur la densité des données secondaires, de manière que les plus petits segments soient créés pour des périodes de l'évènement présentant plus d'entrées de données secondaires associées. De multiples mises en évidence peuvent être réalisées dans un segment particulier, ou chaque segment peut être configuré pour contenir une seule mise en évidence. Au cours de l'évènement, les segments sont stockés, un service de distribution assurant la distribution aux clients, et les données secondaires associées sont stockées dans une base de données ou autre construction. Les données secondaires de mise en évidence font alors l'objet d'une référence croisée avec les segments contenant la mise en évidence. Ceci permet à un client de rechercher dans la base de données les mises en évidence désirées, et de les récupérer grâce au service de distribution.
