Abstract
Afin d'établir une session multimédia impliquant un terminal mobile, un support d'accès par paquets à une session est installé entre le terminal mobile et un point d'accès à un réseau de données par paquets, par le biais d'un réseau d'accès radio. Ce point d'accès est relié à un système multimédia fournissant des services de session multimédia. A l'aide du support d'accès par paquets à une session, une session multimédia impliquant ledit terminal mobile est initiée, laquelle session comprend une pluralité de flux de données média. Des supports d'accès par paquets au média sont installés entre le terminal mobile et le point d'accès. Des informations de liaison média sont utilisées pour associer ladite session multimédia et chaque flux de données média à un des supports d'accès par paquets au média, utilisé pour transférer un flux de données média correspondant entre le terminal mobile et le point d'accès. Ces informations de liaison média peuvent être utilisées de diverses manières pour établir et gérer la session multimédia ainsi que les supports d'accès par paquets au média.
