Description

RUCKSACK HAVING SLEEPING BAG
Technical Field The present invention relates to a rucksack, and more particularly, to a rucksack having a sleeping bag, which is constructed to perform a function of the sleeping bag when the rucksack is unfolded.
Background Art In case of mountain climbing or the like, a climber generally carries separately both a rucksack and a sleeping bag. However, it is substantially very cumbersome to separately carry the rucksack and the sleeping bag in such a way.
In order to solve such a cumbersome thing, Korean Utility Model Laid- Open Publication No. 90-14138 discloses a combination sleeping bag and rucksack. Such a conventional combination sleeping bag and rucksack was constructed such that it can be used as a sleeping bag when unfolded and also as a rucksack itself when folded.
Therefore, when a user wishes to utilize it as the sleeping bag, the rucksack should be fully spread out. Accordingly, there was an inconvenience in that contents contained in the rucksack should be completely taken out therefrom. Furthermore, such an inconvenience occurs even when the unfolded sleeping bag is folded again t form the original rucksack after its use. That s, there is a disadvantage in that after forming the original rucksack by folding the unfolded sleeping bag, the taken-out contents should be put into the formed rucksack again.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is conceived to solve the aforementioned inconvenience. An object of the present invention is to provide a rucksack having a sleeping bag, which can be used as both a rucksack and a sleeping bag and still accommodate contents even in its unfolded state as the sleeping bag. A rucksack having a sleeping bag according to the present invention for achieving the above object comprises a bag portion for accommodating contents therein, and a rucksack envelope which takes the shape of a rucksack capable of maintaining a state where the bag portion is enclosed therein, and can be deployed to be a planar shape while keeping connection with the bag portion when unfolded. The rucksack envelope comprises a floor surface and cover portions, whereby a user can put his/her body and lie down in a space between the floor surface and the cover portions.
Further, the rucksack envelope may include a front plate for covering a front face of the rucksack, a rear plate for covering a rear face of the rucksack, a connection plate for connecting the front and rear plates, a pair of side plates for covering side faces of the rucksack, and a top plate for covering a top face of the rucksack.
The respective plates may be connected with one another by means of slide fasteners so as to maintain a state where the bag portion is enclosed therein.
Moreover, mats having a predetermined thickness may be housed in the floor surface of the rucksack envelope, thereby providing a convenient condition to the user when he/she lies down thereon.
Brief Description of Drawings
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a rucksack according to the present invention. ,FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing an unfolded f.tate of the rucksack according to the present invention.
FIG. 3 is an explanatory view illustrating how the rucksack according to the present invention is used as a sleeping bag.
FIG. 4 is an explanatory view illustrating a state where the rucksack according to the present invention is used as the sleeping bag.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail in connection with a preferred embodiment thereof shown in the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a rucksack of the present invention in its folded state. The rucksack having a sleeping bag according to the present invention comprises a rucksack envelope 1 taking the same form as a conventional rucksack, and shoulder belts 2 for allowing a user to carry the rucksack envelope 1 on his/her shoulder. The wearer can use it in the same "manner as the conventional rucksack by carrying it on his/her shoulder using the shoulder belts.
FIG. 2 shows a state where the rucksack envelope 1 is unfolded, and a bag portion 20 for accommodating contents therein is included in the rucksack envelope 1. As shown in the figure, the rucksack envelope 1 takes a planar shape in its unfolded state so as to form a floor surface on which the user can lie down, and comprises a front plate 12, a rear plate 16 connected to a lower portion of the front plate 12, and a connection plate 13 for connecting the front and rear plates 12, 16.
Moreover, the rucksack envelope 1 further comprises a pair of side plates 14a, 14b which can be unfolded on both sides of the front plate 12, and a top plate 19 connected to an upper portion of the front plate 12.
Herein, the plurality of plates 12, 13, 14a, 14b, 16, and 19 are named on the basis of the folded state substantially shown in FIG. 1. When all the plurality of plates 12, 13, 14a, 14b, 16, and 19 are unfolded, they define a planar surface on which the user can lie down as shown in FIG. 3.
That is, the front plate 12, the rear plate 16, the side plates 14a, 14b, and the to plate 19 can be unfolded to support a back region, a leg region, arm regions, and a head region of the user, respectively.
In addition, the bag portion 20 is connected to one of the side plates 14b. In the embodiment shown in the figures, the bag portion 20 is detachably connected to the side plate 14b by means of a slide fastener 22. The bag portion 20 basically serves as a conventional rucksack for accommodating certain contents therein. Thus, various modifications may be made to the shape of the bag portion 20. For example, the bag portion may be constructed such that it takes a shape similar to that of a general rucksack and can be opened and closed by means of the slide fastener called as "zipper."
Furthermore, the plurality of plates can be folded while substantially enveloping the bag portion 20 therein. For example, the plates are constructed such that their fully folded states can be maintained by means of slide fasteners. More specifically, a slide fastener 21 is attached to an outer end of the other side plate 14a and can be coupled with a slide fastener 23 attached to a right portion of the rear plate 16. A slide fastener 24 attached to a left portion of the rear plate 16 can be coupled with a slide fastener (not shown) attached to an end of the side plate 14b. For the simplicity of illustration, a slide fastener to be attached to an outer portion of the top plate 19, and the like are not shown in the figures.
According to the present invention, the technical spirit of the invention is to envelop the bag portion 20 in such a manner that the slide fasteners are attached to the respective outer ends of the side plates 14a, 14b, the rear plate 16, the top plate
19 and the connection plate 13 and are coupled with one another, as described above. Therefore, it will be apparent that various modifications and changes may be made to the constitution in which the side plates, the rear plate, the top plate and the connection plate for constituting the rucksack envelope 1 are constructed to be coupled, with one another and the bag portion 20 can be wrapped in the rucksack envelope 1. For example, in addition to the slide fastener, a Nelcro tape called as a magic tape may be used. That is, it is apparent that the present invention can be constructed such that one piece of the Nelcro tape is attached to each of peripheral portions of the side plates, the rear plate, the top p te and the connection plate and the other complementary piece of the Nelcro tape is attached to each of relevant portions of the bag portion 20 so as to wrap the bag portion 20 in the rucksack envelope 1.
Further, it is also possible to form an auxiliary bag portion 18 on a back surface of the rear plate 16 of the rucksack envelope 1. Various items necessary for mountain climbing or the like may be accommodated in the auxiliary bag portion 18.
FIG. 3 shows a state where the rucksack according to the present invention can be used as a sleeping bag under a condition that the rucksack envelope 1 is unfolded. When the rucksack envelope 1 is unfolded to take a planar shape as a whole, a sleeping bag portion in which the user can put his/her body and lie down is formed. A bottom surface of the sleeping bag portion is defined by the front plate 12, the connection plate 13, the side plates 14a, 14b, and the rear plate 16. Cover portions 22a, 22b are formed at the bottom surface so that the user can put his/her body between the cover portions and the bottom surface and lie down. Herein, for the convenience of description, a portion which is defined by the front plate 12, the connection plate 13, the side plates 14a, 14b, and the like and forms the bottom surface when the user lies down thereon will be referred to as "a floor surface of the rucksack envelope 1."
A predetermined space in which the body of the user can be put is formed between the cover portions 22a, 22b and the bottom surface defined by the front plate 12, the connection plate 13, the side plates 14a, 14b, and the like. The cover portions 22a, 22b are constructed to be opened and closed by a slide fastener (not shown) at their interface.
Even in a state where the user puts his/her body between the cover portions 22a, 22b and the floor surface of the rucksack envelope 1 and lies down, the rucksack according to the present invention can be used as the sleeping bag without taking out the contents from the bag portion 20 since it is disposed on a side of the side plate 14b as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
Next, the constitution of the floor surface of the rucksack envelope according to the present invention will be ex lained with reference to FIG. 4. As described above, the floor surface 30 used herein means the portion for forming the bottom surface on which the user can lie down in the sleeping bag portion, and is defined by the front plate, the rear plate, the connection plate, the side plates, the top plate, and the like.
Since such a floor surface should provide a most convenient condition to the user when he/she substantially lies down, it is most preferable that, for example, mats 32 be housed in the floor surface 30. The mats 32 housed in the floor surface 30 are made of materials such as compressed sponge or foamed insulation material so that when the user lies down thereon, he/she can feel comfortable without feeling unwell due to presence of something on his/her back.
As described above, it can be understood that the technical spirit of the present invention is to construct the rucksack comprising the bag portion 20 and the rucksack envelope 1 for enclosing the bag portion and to use the bag portion without any hindrance even when the rucksack envelope 1 is unfolded. It "will also be apparent that those skilled in the art may make various modifications or changes thereto without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
Industrial Applicability
According to the present invention described above, there is an advantage in that it is not necessary to separately carry an additional sleeping bag, and at the same time, the inherent function as a rucksack can be sufficiently performed.
