Abstract

The invention relates to a system to prevent snoring that can be used for people who snore and that comprises a slightly elastic strip (1) whose width is smaller than the mouth. The central area (2) on one of the sides of said strip has a lip protector and an adhesive is located on the two ends (3) thereof. The outer part of the strip is placed in a central, vertical position relative to the mouth of the user. Description

SYSTEM TO AVOID THE SOUNDS. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The following invention, as expressed in the statement of the present specification, consists of a system to prevent snoring, which is useful for use by people who snore, so that the system comprises a strip equipped with the appropriate elasticity, which is placed on the outside, vertically and centrally, to the mouth of the user, being smaller than the mouth and remaining at its two ends joined by gluing, with respect to the interlabial groove and the mentolabial groove, while the area center of the strip, which is provided with a lip balm, is not stuck.

Thus, the object of the strip arranged on the outside, vertically and centrally to the mouth, is to prevent the user from snoring, by keeping him properly disposed, with the mouth closed, allowing the passage of a small flow of air in the reflex movement of inspiration and expiration, through the sides of the mouth to avoid the sensation of drowning if it is kept closed in its entirety, the strip being able to have holes in its central area provided with the lip balm to increase the passage of air in those convenient cases, getting the rest of the precise air by nasal breathing and avoiding snoring.

SCOPE. The device presented is useful for all those who snore, to avoid breathing with an open mouth, so that with its use adequate breathing is achieved, since the flow of air that is aspirated is properly distributed by the nose and mouth, not causing the veil of the palate and uvula to vibrate, which causes snoring.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Of all the people in general, the problems associated with the fact that a person snores, not only for the individual himself, but especially for the people who live with him, causing an important social problem, are known, since a large percentage of People snore. Briefly, we can review the fact that snoring is it produces an inspiration-expiration reflex in the respiratory movement, when opening the mouth, since in the nasal breathing snoring does not usually occur or it is of less intensity. Thus, when a person has a lack of vestibular aeration, he opens his mouth to be able to complete the ventilation, and the flow of air can cause the palate and uvula veil to vibrate and thereby cause snoring to occur. that snoring occurs more intensely when the person is in the supine position.

Thus, although the person who snores in certain cases may not have the slightest evidence of it, and therefore does not present any sequel or does not believe to present it, it is also true that on numerous occasions the person who snores may wake up as a result of their own snoring or snoring is not able to reach the REM phase of sleep, so it does not get adequate rest, so it is very common for those people who snore, during the day have their reflexes diminished, being able to reach to fall asleep with the problem that this entails, especially if the person has to drive or perform work of certain danger, since it can suffer or cause accidents. On the other hand, the people closest to the person who snores and who live with it, they do suffer the consequences of the important inconveniences that they must endure, making daily living very difficult.

For all these reasons, the problem of all those who snore has been tried in different ways, but without any of these solutions having obtained a satisfactory result.

Thus, among the methods used we can mention the surgical one, which consists in reducing the size of the soft palate veil and the uvula, so that the air flow does not cause its vibration. This method is invasive and unwanted by many people, since they do not wish to undergo a surgical operation due to said situation, since it is not a health problem in itself. In addition, they do not get the desired result, so the especially painful operation in their postoperative period does not have a total success rate either. We can also cite among the methods used to avoid snoring, the one that is made up of an element with a flexible body that is stuck to the nose, so that it is about the flexible body attached to the adhesive element, causing in its flexion the separation of the wing cartilages of the nose, so that the nasal passages remain permanently open and facilitate the passage of air, in the movement of inspiration and expiration.

Likewise, there are other clamp-like devices, which are placed inside the nostrils, tending to open, likewise, the winged cartilages at the bottom, but simultaneously causing the closure of the upper part of the nasal passages, by What the problem is not solved.

Finally, there are homeopathic medicines that act only as mere anesthetics so that breathing is more fluid, although in most cases they do not produce the desired effect.

Logically, the strip 1 can have any configuration, color or thickness, always providing on one of its faces a central area with a lip balm and the ends provided with an adhesive, for joining by gluing to the interlabial and mentholabial grooves, and it can also be made of any type of material that meets the flexibility and sanitary characteristics required for its use. On the other hand, the strip 1 can be made from a single layer, or it can be configured from several layers as a sandwich, always being, logically, the upper and lower areas provided with an adhesive and the central provided with a lip balm

Likewise, the central area may not have the lip balm, when the material of which the strip is made has protection and softness characteristics that make said protector unnecessary.
