Abstract
The invention provides a screen workstation comprising two screens (1 and 1') for the service domain, the individual image representation on said screens being selected by means of a common keyboard (8) assigned to both. This allows e.g. a consultant to conduct a conversation with a customer and to simultaneously display information both for himself and for the customer. The screens can be set up simply and ergonomically on any desk for the different lines of vision and also the sitting positions of the users. To achieve this, the screens are configured as flat screens with individual housings and are mounted together on a pivoting stand (2, 3, 4, 4'). Said pivoting stand has a base element (2, 3) comprising a platform base (2) and a bearing element (3), on which both screens are mounted so that they can be pivoted in a horizontal direction and in addition so that at least one of the two screens can be tilted in a vertical direction about a horizontal axis.

Es ist einleuchtend, daß die Form dieses Fußes 2 sowie auch die Position des Lagerelementes 3 auch anders gewählt werden könnte.plate-shaped foot 2 the base element of a bogie, ■ on which a bearing element 3, which is designed in the form of a cylinder, is arranged perpendicular to the surface of the foot 2. In the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, this bearing element 3 is arranged near the narrow-side end of the foot 2 which is sector-shaped in outline. It is obvious that the shape of this foot 2 and the position of the bearing element 3 could also be chosen differently.
As shown particularly clearly in FIG. 3, the two LCD screens 1 and 1 'are each coupled to the bearing element 3 with one of their short end faces. For this purpose, two bearing sleeves 4 and 4 'are rotatably pushed onto this bearing element 3, one of which is assigned to one of the LCD screens 1 and 1' and is articulated on its end face. This means nothing else than that the LCD screens 1 and 1 'are arranged pivotable about the axis of the bearing element 3. The position of the two LCD screens 1 and 1 ', which is clearly shown in particular in FIGS. 2 and 3, is thus a swiveled-in end position. Arrows 5 - shown in Figure 3 - illustrate that both LCD screens 1 and 1 'are arranged to be deflectable from this pivoted-in position.
Another detail also relates to this function. The two LCD screens 1 and 1 'have grip strips 6 on their end surface facing away from the bearing element 3, also to give the user an indication of this pivoting possibility. In Figure 2 it is also made clear by arrows 7 that the LCD screens 1, 1 'are also pivotally mounted on the bearing sleeves 4 and 4' assigned to them. This further pivot axis lies in a plane parallel to the foot 2, which means that both LCD screens 1, 1 ', as required for a screen work station, are set in a predetermined angular range in the direction of the user in front from the vertical , - can be set up. 4 shows a further embodiment of two for the arrangement according OF INVENTION ¬ dung LCD screens is shown. Functional elements of the same type are identified by corresponding reference symbols. In this embodiment, the foot 2 of the bogie is designed as a circular plate, in the center of which the bearing element 3 is arranged. The bearing sleeves 4 and 4 'are trapezoidal in this case. In this exemplary embodiment, the LCD screens 1 and 1 'are not connected in an articulated manner on one end face, but on their rear side to the bearing sleeves 4 and 4'. For the user, this embodiment has the function analogous to the embodiment described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
It should also be pointed out that it does not appear necessary to pivotally arrange both LCD screens 1 and 1 'on the bearing sleeves 4 and 4' assigned to them. In many applications for such an arrangement of two LCD screens 1 and 1 ', in which two people, possibly even more than two people, carry out a negotiation or advice and thereby the LCD screens 1 and 1' for visualizing Only one of the two LCD screens, e.g. B. the LCD screens 1, be the one used by the permanent user of this screen workstation. The second LCD screen 1 'is then the one that is used by changing people and then only temporarily. In view of this restricted use, it would be entirely possible and also permitted to dispense with an adjustment option from the vertical in this second LCD screen 1 'and to fix it directly and rigidly to the bearing sleeve 4' assigned to it with a predetermined angle of inclination.
