Abstract

Comprehensive reduction in power and comprehensive saving on energy consumed in a plurality of power consuming devices such as air conditioning equipment, refrigerating equipment, prime mover equipment and illuminating equipment are achieved. A power saving control device which is interposed between a demand control device and the plurality of power consuming devices on a power supply route by which the power consuming devices are connected to a power supply side via a demand control device, and which is provided with a relay for controlling the supply of power to the power consuming devices on a priority basis on receiving a signal from the demand control device, and a timer for controlling the supply of power to the power consuming devices on a prescribed time basis; and an energy saving system.
