Abstract

La structure (235) de services constitue un moyen classique, cohérent, simplifié permettant à des services de se rendre disponibles et à des entités utilisatrices de services de localiser et de se connecter aux services qui leur sont d'intérêt. La structure de service comprend des registres de notification (254, 256, figure 7) d'événements de services dans lesquels des entités demandeuses de services enregistrent les types de services qu'elles souhaitent localiser et auxquels elles souhaitent se connecter. Des services résidant dans des noeuds de communication distants (106, figure 1) sont consultés et connectés uniquement si et lorsqu'ils sont effectivement nécessaires, et uniquement si un dispositif utilisateur (108) se trouve à proximité d'un noeud de communication distant (106). Les consultations fructueuses renvoient des paramètres demandés pour communiquer avec le service distant, mais ces paramètres sont rejetés lorsqu'ils ne sont plus nécessaires. La mémoire et la largeur de bande sont utilisées efficacement du fait que le trafic lié aux services est fonction de la demande. L'invention concerne également divers procédés d'exploitation d'une structure de services.
