Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil qui permettent de combiner la cabine de pulvérisation de revêtement avec le chauffage et le rayonnement pour accroître l'efficacité du traitement des revêtements en poudre sur du bois, des matériaux composites à base de bois et des substrats en plastique. La température des éléments du processus peut être maintenue à l'intérieur de la cabine après le préchauffage ou bien la température peut être augmentée à l'intérieur de la cabine avant, pendant ou après l'application du matériau de revêtement. La présente invention permet de réguler la vitesse de dilatation thermique des matériaux sensibles à la chaleur, ce qui réduit ainsi les dommages subis par le substrat tels que les fissures. L'amélioration de l'efficacité permet de réduire significativement la consommation d'énergie nécessaire au traitement. Plusieurs revêtements peuvent être appliqués et durcis sur des éléments traités selon l'invention alors que le système de traitement est globalement réduit du point de vue de sa longueur comparativement aux systèmes de l'art antérieur.
