Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling an adaptive antenna of a system of base stations in a radio communication system. According to said method, a primary emission direction of the adaptive antenna is selected, based on the current location of a subscriber station. The invention is characterised in that recorded data that is created in the base station system and describes the location of the subscriber station is used at a subsequent point in time for determining the primary emission direction of the adaptive antenna.
