Abstract

The present invention is directed to a process for manufacturing an information map screen that can graphically represent the load, buildings, and major offices. A photograph of buildings is first taken after searching the building and topographical map, and the use and names of the building is input in the photograph data. Then, the brightness, color, size, and orientation of the builds are converted into a graphic form on a plane through a computer aided design process. The data obtained through the computer aided design process is rendered through a rendering process, after which the rendered data is output. An information film is formed through a film process for filming a wide color screen using the output data. The information film is finally attached on the information map board.

A SOLID POSITION INFORMATION GUIDE SYSTEM

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a solid position information guide system, and more particularly, to an information guide system that can show streets, building and major offices by photographing them, modifying them using a computer graphic and representing them in a large-sized color screen.

2. Description of the Related Art

Generally, a guide information system for guiding streets and buildings of the city is installed on the road or in the buildings. The information system has a plane map formed on the basis of the road.

However, since such a plane map cannot shows the real pictures of the streets and buildings but simply shows a location of them, it is difficult to find the way and buildings using the information taken from the information system. In addition, since the information system cannot provide the real picture but the name of street and buildings, even if someone arrives around there, he/she has to identify the nameplates of the buildings. In addition, the system cannot provide the detail use of the buildings or places, the system is not enough as an information guide board. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore, the present invention has been made in an effort to solve the above-described problems. It is an objective of the present invention to provide an information guide system that can illustrate streets, building and major offices in a picture and letters by photographing them, modifying them using a computer graphic and representing them in a large-sized color screen.

Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a flowchart illustrating an embodiment of the present invention; and

FIG. 2 is a view illustrating an information guide system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A solid information guide system of the present invention is manufactured by (1 ) taking a picture of buildings with a topography photograph, (2) inputting data on the names of the buildings and the picture taken in Korean or other international languages, (3) performing a CAD process for representing the shape of the buildings such as the light and darkness, color, size, direction, angle of the buildings, (4) performing the rendering process for the data obtained in the CAD process, (5) outputting the data obtained in the rendering process 4, (6) forming a wide color film using the output data, and (7) attaching the wide color film on a guide board.

Describing more in detail, a topography is first examined on the basis of public offices and major buildings of a city and pictures of the offices and the buildings are taken in various angles such as a front angle, a side angle, and a high angle (1). Then, the picture taken is converted into digital image modes and input as data including names of the offices and the buildings (2). The input data is transmitted to a CAD process to be represented into the graphic illustrating the buildings along the network of roads, the graphic being represent in a plane with the light and darkness, color, size, direction, angle as well as the names.

The graphic obtained in the CAD process is edited in the rendering process (4) using a workstation and output in the output process (5). The output data is formed in a wide color film, which is attached on a guide board (7).

Industrial Applicability The buildings and street names are represented on the guide board, making it easy to find a way. On a lower portion of the guide board, the famous places or other guide information may be displayed for the convenience. In addition, a space of the guide board can be used for the advertisement.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A solid information guide system manufactured under the steps of: taking a picture of buildings with a topography photograph; inputting data on the names of the buildings and the picture taken in
Korean or other international languages; performing a CAD process for representing the shape of the buildings such as the light and darkness, color, size, direction, angle of the buildings; performing the rendering process for the data obtained in the CAD process; outputting the data obtained in the rendering process; forming a wide color film using the output data; and attaching the wide color film on a guide board.
