Abstract

The object of this invention is to make parking a motor-vehicle easier along the street parallel to it. When parking, often there is a lack of sufficient space and the driver has to reverse to park his car. Often the driver behind not knowing the driver's intention of parking, does not leave enough space to reverse and park. To avoid this it will be sufficient to communicate to the driver behind the intention of parking. For the appliance of the invention it will be necessary to place on the back of the motor-vehicle a signaller in the form of a written message or/and an acoustic signal to communicates to the driver behind the beginning of the parking maneuver so that he can stop in time making car parking successful.

Description

The Easv-Parker-Indicator
Technical Field
My invention relates to the car sector and consists of a signaller that communicates to the driver behind, through a proper message the intention of the motor-vehicle, in f ont to park and begin the parking maneuver, so he can stop in time, making car parking successful and in the meantime avoiding a possible car accident.
Disclosure of Invention
Parking a motor-vehicle, nowadays can become very difficult because of the lack of sufficient car parking areas in our cities.
A driver may be able to find a parking space but he is not able to occupy it since the car behind him does not realize his intention of parking and does not stop in time, making it impossible for the driver to park his car. With "the easy-parker indicator" parking your motor-vehicle will indeed become easier. This invention makes parking easier near the pavement or along the street (parallel to it), most of all in this situation: when there is not much space and the driver has to go beyond the space where he wants to park (fig. 1) and has to reverse to park his car (fig. 3) and when there is another driver behind that does not realize the driver's intention of parking his car and does not stop, leaving insufficient space for him to maneuver his motor-vehicle. In such a situation the "easy-parker indicator" signals to the driver behind, the beginning of the parking maneuver so that he can stop in time, making car parking successful.
Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention
For the appliance of the invention it will be sufficient that the driver who wants to park communicates to the driver behind his intention of parking, he can do that through a signaller (display) placed on the back of the motor-vehicle.
The signaller must be switched on before the driver arrives at the parking space (fig. 1).
The figures 1, 2, 3, and 4 show the success of the parking maneuver using the "Easy-parker- indicator".
Brief Description of the Drawings
Letters A, B, C, D, E, F indicate motor-vehicles parked along the street. The arrow indicates the driving direction.
Letter G indicates the driver who wants to park.
In the motor-vehicle G you can see the display which signals to the driver behind the intention of parking.
Letters H, I, L indicate motor-vehicles following the motor-vehicle G.

Claims

Claims
1.A signaller (display) like those used to communicate written messages. The message can be flowing, fixed ( illuminated or not)or flashing.
2.The signaller as claimed in claim 1 is characterized by being placed on the back of a car or motor-vehicle (inside or outside) so that the message is visible to the driver behind.
3. The signaller as claimed in claims 1 and 2 is characterized by the peculiarity of the message. The aim of the message is to communicate to the driver behind the beginning of the parking maneuver (fig. 1). The message could be one of the following:
- Stop I am parking — ►
- Stop I am parking -«— The arrows indicates the place -on the right or on the left- where the driver wants to park.
4.The signaller as claimed in claims 1,2 and 3 can be made up of the third light of the stop signal placed inside the car in the back window. In this way the same signaller will have two functions: a) to communicate to the driver that the car is stopping, in this case it will be set in action by the brake; b) to communicate the message as said in claim 3 in order to make car parking easier, in this case it will be set in action by a special button.
5. The signaller as claimed in claims 1,2,3 and 4 can communicate the intention of parking a car through an acoustic signal too.
ό.The signaller can be constituted - instead of a display as claimed in claims 1,2,3,4 and 5- by a light that, by accepted custom, communicates that the driver is parking.
