Abstract

Es wird ein Video-Paneel vorgeschlagen, welches mit LED in präzisen SMD-Bauformen bestückt ist und zur Aufstellung im Freien eine Vorsatzoptik aufweist, die Sichtbarkeit und Kontrast der Darstellungen bei jeder beliebigen Sonneneinstrahlung verbessert, indem sie Spiegelungen und Reflexionen des Sonnenlichtes im Beobachtungsbereich verhindert und gleichzeitig eine gute Lichtverteilung bewirkt. Unmittelbar vor jeder LED (2) ist ein Lichtleitstab (3) angeordnet, dessen Querschnittsverlauf und Orientierung bezüglich der LED (2) so bemessen ist, dass einerseits das gesamte eintretende Nutzlicht durch Totalreflexion an den Wandungen (5) weitergeleitet und in den Beobachtungsbereich (B) abgelenkt wird, andererseits einfallende Sonnenstrahlen (7) nicht in die LED (2) gelangen könen, weil sie entweder nach mehrmaliger Totalreflexion in die Einfallsrichtung oder außerhalb des Beobachtungsbereiches (B) zurückgelenkt werden, oder unter einem steileren Winkel als dem Grenzwinkel der Totalreflexion auf die Wandungen (5) des Lichtleitstabes (3) treffen, dort austreten und von einem umgebenden Gehäuse (9) absorbiert werden. Außerdem werden durch entsprechende Neigung (A) der Lichtaustrittsflächen (6) störende Oberflächenreflexionen vermieden.
