Abstract

Cette invention a trait à une station d'extension servant à connecter un système téléphonique filaire classique à un téléphone portable sans fil, sinon à plusieurs. Cette station d'extension permet à un téléphone filaire classique d'envoyer des appels à un téléphone portable en réseau ainsi que d'en recevoir. L'emploi de ce dispositif évite d'avoir recours à un service séparé de téléphone sans fil. Le téléphone sans fil peut être facilement retiré de la station d'extension pour être utilisé comme téléphone mobile sans fil. La station d'extension est pourvue d'un manchon de raccordement amovible spécialement configuré, pouvant être utilisé pour y raccorder un téléphone portable sans fil d'un modèle particulier. Cette station peut comporter plusieurs manchons de raccordement, de sorte que plusieurs téléphones portables sans fil peuvent avoir accès à un téléphone filaire connecté à la station. Les circuits de la station d'extension simulent l'environnement accoutumé d'un téléphone filaire classique, de sorte qu'un téléphone filaire classique peut avoir accès au réseau sans fil de la même façon qu'à un réseau téléphonique filaire.
