Abstract
A cellular telephone for providing information to travellers in a plurality of languages comprises in the main body (1) a first memory (4) storing multilingual information (4-1 through 4-9) and a second memory (5) storing a plurality of service numbers (5-1 through 5-5) of guiding systems of the corresponding multilingual guiding centers. The multilingual guiding center offers various information services in a particular language. By means of the information stored in the first memory (4) the traveller selects the desired language, thereafter, the dial information stored in the corresponding field of the second memory (5) is used to connect the cellular telephone to the guiding system of the multilingual guiding center providing information to the traveller in the desired language.
Description
CELLULAR TELEPHONE FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cellular phone capable of talking in
many languages, more particularly, to a cellular phone that using a
cellular phone equipped a memory chip inputted dial programs, when any
one of many languages is selected by a person having the cellular phone,
a many languages guiding center being guided in many languages is
connected automatically with the above-mentioned cellular phone
/ø according to said selected language, thus in all of area that the many
languages guiding center is established the person having the cellular
phone can talk in a language selected by him through any one of
systems selected from a direct guiding system being guided by guiders,
an automatic voice guiding system being guided by voice and an
/5 interpretation guiding system being guided by interpreters, also personal
voice mail and facsimile may be used through said systems, and also in
internet portal site web site translated into necessary language may be
searched.
Background Art
In conventional cellular phones native language of one country only are
inputted in order to talk in only native language.
Therefore travellers \ isited foreign country cannot talk over cellular
phones of the foreign country as well as cannot understand the
country's language, accordingly it is very inconvenient to take a
sightseeing trip or business tour in foreign country.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is to provide cellular phones capable of talking in
many,- languages by connection with many languages guiding centers,
improved faults of conventional cellular phones as mentioned above.
More particularly the present invention is to provide many languages
cellular phones connected with many languages guiding centers, in which
any countries having many languages guiding centers, the cellular phones
that their proper numbers are inputted in many languages guiding centers
of the countries, can be lent from the country by foreign travelers, by
connecting the cellular phones with many languages guiding centers of
the countries necessan languages of travellers can be selected optionally,
thereby various travel informations and services can be provided to the
travelers through any one system selected from a direct guiding system
being guided directly by guiders, an automatic voice guiding system
being guided by voice and an interpretation guiding system being guided
. by interpreters, also mails or facsimile services may be provided to them
by separate connected lines, as well as by using internet portal sites web
sites translated into needed . languages may be rearched.
Now the present invention is described in detail referring to the
accompanying drawings as follows ;
In main body 1 of a cellular phone a many languages memory chip 4
j inputted many languages and a dial guiding memory chip 5 inputted dial
guiding programs respectively every system are installed, programs
inputted in said each memory chip 4, 5 are connected with respectively
corresponding language and corresponding guiding system of many
languages guiding center(not shown in drawings), wherein' the.
75 above-mentioned many languages memory chip 4 is connected with the
many languages guiding system so as to talk over cellular phone with
corresponding language guiding system of said many languages guiding
center in corresponding language by connecting with the program of the
dial guiding memory chip 5 when, as shown in figure 2, among many
20 language numbers 2a shown in indication window 2 of the main body 1
of the cellular phone, understandable language number 2b is selected, a
phone button 2b' corresponding to the language number 2b is pushed
down, a choice button 3 is pushed down, then the selected language 2c is
shown in the indication window, and wherein the above-mentioned dial
5 guiding memory chip 5 comprises, as shown in figure 3, a direct guiding
system D being guided directly by guiders, connected directly with
guiders 12-1 through 12-10 guiding in a corresponding language through
guiding line 12 connected with the many languages guiding center and
constituted also a date base 14 capable of extracting necessary date; as
\θ shown in figure 4, an automatic voice guiding system Au connected with
personal voice mail and facsimile box 20, providing various informations
and services by means of automatic voice installations 19-1 through
19-10 connected with the many languages guiding center by automatic
voice guiding line 19 composed of each country language,' as shown in
5 figure 5, an interpretation guiding system T being guided by interpreters
25 through a swithboard 24 according to order indicated by an intallation
23 for indicating interpretation order connected with the many languages
guiding center by means of an interpreters connection network line 22; an
internet portal site(noi shown in drawings) constructed in the many
o languages guiding center and system for connecting proper number of
each cellular phone(not shown in drawings), also in said direct guiding
system D, automatic voice guiding system Au and the interpretation
guiding system T, instruments 15 measuring telephone traffic, instruments
16 inputting amount of service, servers 17 for searching and confirming
personal information and center servers 18 are connected with them
respectively to store telephone traffic and service contents and amount,
said center servers 18 are connected with apparatuses 26 for informing
telephone traffic and for service contents and booth network(s) 27 of
business office to calculate the expense according to it.
Brief Description of Drawings
Fig 1 is a constitution drawing of main inner members of a cellular
phone according to the present invention.
Fig 2a is an illustration of a language for selection shown in an
indication window of a cellular phone according to the present invention.
Fig 2b is an illustration of selected language shown in an indication
window of a cellular phone according to the present invention.
Fig 3 is a flow diagram of a direct guiding system being guided directly
by guiders in a language selected by a person having a cellular phone
according to the present invention.
Fig 4 is a flow diagram of an automatic voice guiding system being
guided automatically by voice in a language selected by a person having
a cellular phone according to the present invention.
Fig 5 is a flow diagram of an interpretation guiding system being guided
by interpreters in a cellular phone according to the present invention.
Fig 6 is a flow diagram of ;expense calculation system in a cellular phone
according to the present invention.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
Now an application example of main body 1 of the cellular phone and the
' many languages guiding center according to the present invention is
described in detail referring to the accompanying drawings as follows;
As shown in Figs 1 and 2, in many languages memory chip 4, languages
of each country are inputted(memorized) respectively in good order in 4-1
through 4-9 such that the English is memorized in 4-1 and the Chinese
is memorized in 4-2.
Therefore in a foreign country using different language from that of a
traveler the traveler for business or tour may lend the cellular phone in
accordance with the present invention and may talk over the cellular
phone in an understandable language.
Operating process of the cellular phone is as follows ;
On the cellular phone capable of talking in many languages in accordance
with the present invention direction indicating buttons <— and → are
pushed selectively down to show many languages 2a one by one, in turn,
in the indicating window 2 of the main body 1, then when among the
many languages an understandable language 2b shows in the indication
window 2a phone button 2b' of the cellular phone corresponding to of
said understandable language 2b is pushed down and then a choice
button 3 is pushed clown to show selected language 2c and guiding
contents- in the an indication window 2, wherein a dial shortening number
is converted automatically by means of program of the dial guiding
memory chip 5 connected with the many languages guiding center in
order to connect with selected language guiding system of said center.
Industrial Applicability
As mentioned above, when the cellular phone connected with the many
languages guiding center is used, various informations and services can
be provided as follows ;
For examples, to connect the cellular phone 1 with the direct guiding-
system D being guided by the guiders of the many languages guiding
center a phone button O(zero) corresponding to the 5-1 memory position
of the dial guiding memory chip 5 of the cellular phone is pushed down,
to connect the cellular phone 1 with the automatic voice guiding system
Au of the said guiding center a phone button 9 corresponding to the 5-2
memory position of said memory chip 5 of the cellular phone is pushed
down, to connect the cellular phone 1 with the personal voice mail and
facsimile box 20 of sai guiding center a phone button 8 corresponding to
the 5-3 memory position of said memory chip 5 is pushed down to get
necessary informations or services directly, to connect the lent cellular
phone 1 with the other cellulai" phone having proper number inputted in a
proper number connection system of said guiding center a phone button 7
corresponding to the 5-4 memory position of said memory chip 5 is
pushed down, to search (monitor) web site translated into language of
each country in the internet portal site constituted in said guiding center
a phone button 6 corresponding to 5-5 memory position of said memory
chip 5 is pushed down, to connect the cellular phone 1 with the
interpretation guiding system T of said guiding center a phone button
0(zero) corresponding to the 5-1 memory position of said memory chip 5
is pushed down.
As mentioned above, when the cellular phone is connected with many

languages guiding center person having(lent) the cellular phone is guided
as follows ;
When the phone button 0(zero) corresponding to the direct guiding
system is pushed down to be guided by the guider, as shown in the flow
diagram of Fig 3, the cellular phone is connected with any one of the
guiders 12-1~12-10 of each corresponding language through the guiding
line 12 of corresponding language to be guided directly by the guider
concerning the emergent accident, service, various reservation, geography,
telephone number, important government agencies, transportation, tour,
wherein necessary data can be taken from the date base 14 and also
when the cellular phone is lent, the proper number of the cellular phone
connected with 5-4 memory position and phone button 7 is inputted
automatically in personal information searching confirmation server 17.
Accordingly when the lent cellular phone is used, by instrument 15
measuring telephone traffic and instrument 16 inputting amount of service
connected with said personal information searching confirmation server 17,
telephone traffic and amount of service are sent to the center server 18
to store.
When the phone butto I 9 corresponding to the automatic voice guidance
system Au is pushed down to be guided by it, as shown in Fig 4, the
cellular phone is connected with any one of the automatic voice
installations 19-1 through 19-10 of each corresponding language through
the automatic voice guiding line 19 of the automatic voice guiding system
Au to be guided by the installations concerning stored necessary
informations such as an exchange rate of each country, a weather
forecast of that day, a consulate and an embassy of each corresponding
country, money rates of that day, - the current price of important raw
materials, public performance, traffic expanses, traffic route, the present
time of each country, wherein if a person having (lent) the cellular phone
wishes to get said informations though personal mail and facsimile box
20 the necessary informations may be taken them by pushing down the
corresponding phone button 8 and also with this automatic voice guiding
system an instrument 15 measuring telephone traffic, an instrument 16
inputting amount of services, a server 17 for searching and confirming
personal information and a center server 18 are connected respectively to
store telephone traffic, service contents and amount.
When the phone bu tton 0(zero) corresponding to the interpretation
guidance system T is pushed down to be guided by an interpreter, as
shown in Fig 5, the interpretation order is provided by means of an
installation 23 for indicating interpretation order connected with the

cellular phone through a network line 22 for the interpreter of each
language, then the cellular phone is connected with the interpreter 25
through the switchboard 24 to be guided by interpretation and also with
this interpretation guiding system T an instrument 15 measuring
telephone traffic, an instrument 16 inputting amount of service, a serve 17
for searching and confirming personal information and a center server 18
are connected respectiλ'ely to store telephone traffic, service contents and
amount.
When the cellular phone capable of talking in many languages and a
guiding center thereof in accordance with the present invention are used,
as shown in Fig 6, the telephone traffic and amount of service are
informed from the center server 18 of each system to apparatus 26 for
informing telephone traffic and service contents to calculate the expanse,
the calculated expense is informed the booth network 27 of business
office, and when the lent cellular phone is returned the calculated
expense can be paid.

Claims
1. A cellular phone capable of talking in many languages characterized in
that in main body (1) of a cellular phone a many languages memory chip
(4) inputted many languages and a dial guiding memory chip (5) inputted
5 dial guiding programs respectively every system are installed, programs
inputted in said each memory chip (4), (5) are connected with respectively
corresponding language and corresponding guiding system of many
languages guiding center.
2. A cellular phone capable of talking in many languages in accordance
ø with claim 1, wherein said many languages memory chip (4) is connected
with the many languages guiding system so as to talk over cellular
phone with corresponding language guiding system of said many
languages guiding center in corresponding language by connecting with
the program of the dial guiding memory chip (5) when among many
5 language numbers (2a) shown in indication window (2) of the main body
(1) of the cellular phone, needed language number (2b) is selected, a
phone button (2b') corresponding to the language number (2b) is pushed
down, a choice button (3) is pushed down, then the selected language
(2c) is shown in the indication window.
3. A cellular phone capable of talking in many languages in accordance
with claim 1, wherein said dial guiding memory chip (5) comprises a
direct guiding system D being guided directly by guiders, connected
directly with guiders (12-1 through 12-10) guiding in a corresponding
language through guiding line (12) connected with the many languages
guiding center and constituted also a date base (14) capable of extracting
necessary date; an automatic voice guiding system Au connected with
personal voice mail and facsimile box (20), providing various informations
and services by means of automatic voice installations (19-1 through
ø 19-10) connected with the many languages guiding center by automatic
voice guiding line ( 19) composed of each country language; an
interpretation guiding system T being guided by interpreters (25) through
a swithboard (24) according to order indicated by an intallation (23) for
indicating interpretation order connected with the many languages guiding
5 center by means of an interpreters connection network line (22); an
internet portal site constructed in the many languages guiding center and
system for connecting proper number of each cellular phone.
4. A cellular phone capable of talking in many languages in accordance
with claim 3, wherein in said direct guiding system D, automatic voice
o guiding system Au and the interpretation guiding system T, instruments
73 (15) measuring telephone traffic, instruments (16) inputting amount of
service, servers (17) for searching and confirming personal information
and center servers (18) are connected with them respectively to store
telephone traffic and se vice contents and amount.
5. A cellular phone capable of talking in many languages in accordance
with claim 4, wherein said center servers (18) are connected with
apparatuses (26) for informing telephone traffic and for service contents
and booth network(s) (27) of business office to calculate the expense
according to it.
