Abstract

The invention concerns a method for preparing nucleotide fragments specific of a family of nucleic acid repeat regions, or target family, said regions having among them high homologies. The invention is characterised in that it comprises steps which consist in: aligning, one beneath the other, at least 10 monomer sequences of the target family of at least 20 nucleotides in length; defining on each of the monomer sequences, one or several matching zones, on each of the monomers; evaluating the occurrence percentage, in each vertical alignment, of each of the nucleotides of the selected zone; statistically producing nucleotide fragments, in accordance with a probabilistic fuzzy logic, by selecting for each position, based on the percentage previously established, and by comparing with the percentages obtained, by the same process, with other nucleic acids of different families, either the most probable nucleotide, so as to provide the fragment with a polymorphous character, or the nucleotide most specific with respect to the target family.
