Abstract

A collapsible sun shade (10) is provided which in use has a support pole (12) positioned at or near one edge of one or more lengths of shade material (18). The length(s) of material (18) is (are) attached to a cross-bar (14) which is movably attached to the support pole (12) at or near the top thereof, and is supported in an operative condition by a frame (16) which is attached to the cross-bar (14) and/or to the support pole (12).
