Abstract

L'invention concerne un système, un procédé et un produit pour la résolution d'adresse hiérarchique en adresse IP. Le système comprend une première série de plusieurs processus serveurs de noms pour la résolution d'adresse hiérarchique et une seconde série de plusieurs processus serveurs de noms pour la résolution d'adresse hiérarchique. Chaque processus de la seconde série a un processus correspondant dans la première série. Le système comprend en outre un mécanisme d'équilibrage de charge qui permet de recevoir une demande de résolution de nom incluant l'adresse hiérarchique et d'envoyer la demande à l'un des processus de la première série ou au processus correspondant dans la seconde série, pour la résolution de l'adresse hiérarchique en adresse IP.
