Abstract

Verwendung von offenzelligen, elastischen Schaumstoffen auf Basis von Melamin/Formaldehyd-Kondensationsprodukten in Hygieneartikeln zu Aufnahme, Verteilung und Immobilisierung von Körperflüssigkeiten sowie Hygieneartikel, die aus einer Kombination einer flüssigkeitsundurchlässigen Schicht, einer absorbierenden Zwischenschicht und einer flüssigkeitsdurchlässigen Schicht aufgebaut sind wobei die absorbierende Zwischenschicht zur Aufnahme, Verteilung und Immobiliesierung von Körperflüssigkeiten aus einem offenzelligen, elastischen Schaumstoff aus Melamin-Formaldehyd-Kondensationsprodukten mit einer Dichte von 5 bis 200 g/l, einer spezifischen Oberfläche (bestimmt nach BET) von mehr als 0,5 m2/g und einer Free Swell Capacity von mehr als 20 g/g besteht.
