Abstract

Reagents which regulate human alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-like enzyme and reagents which bind to human alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-like enzyme gene products can play a role in preventing, ameliorating, or correcting dysfunctions or diseases including, but not limited to, cancer, glaucoma, obesity, colon and prostate cancer and benign prostatic hypertrophy.
