Abstract

The invention relates to bicycle engineering, in particular to the design of additional hand drives for a bicycle. The invention increases the reliability and serviceability of the additional hand drive for a bicycle and simplifies the design thereof. The inventive additional hand drive for bicycle comprises a handlebar which is rigidly connected to a steering shaft which is mounted with the aid of a swivel, two handles and a chain-drive for a drive-shaft of the bicycle. Said handbar is provided with a guide, one end of which is connected to the steering shaft by means of a Hooke joint, and another end is connected to one end of a connecting rod with the aid of a spherically seated bearing. Another end of the connecting rod is mounted on a cradle of rotation which is eccentrically fixed to an additional wheel with respect to the axis of rotation thereof. The additional wheel is linked to the drive-shaft of the bicycle by means of an additional chain-drive.
