Abstract

The invention concerns a set for fastening a seat of public transport vehicle, consisting of a section (1) of 'C' letter shape with bent into inside flanges (2) making an inside niche (3) where a positioning element (4) in the form of a plate having a shape of elongated element is mounted, of suitably smaller width than the width of the slot (5) of the shape (1) and of suitably higher length than the inside width of the shape (1), having a threaded hole (6) and locating protrusions (7).

Description

Set for fastening a seat of public transport vehicle
The invention concerns a set for fastening a seat of public transport vehicle, applicable for fast and durable change of the seat position in relation to the inside of urban or tourist bus, trams, aeroplanes etc.
In hitherto solutions, seats in buses, trams and the like transport vehicles are fastened permanently to a floor or a sidewall. There is no possibility of free shaping the vehicle inside, fast changing of seats, fast separating of seat frame from supporting structure.
Presented below solution eliminates above-mentioned faults and inconveniences.
The essence of the invention, being a set for fastening a seat of public transport vehicle, consists in that it is a section of "C" letter shape with bent into inside flanges making a niche where a positioning element in the form of a plate having a shape of elongated element is mounted, of suitably smaller width than the width of the shape slot and of suitably higher length than the inside width of the shape, having a threaded hole and locating protrusions.
The following technical-and use effects were gained thanks to application of a set according to the invention:
□ possibility of fast fastening (unfastening) of a seat to elements of supporting structure and adaptation of seats for operating needs, α possibility of permanent fastening of the set shape to the seat frame, α possibility of use of the set shape as a lengthwise element of the seat frame,
□ possibility of assembly of the shape into side walls or floor of a bus,
□ possibility of free situating of a seat, both single and multiple, along the bus, α possibility of use for single and multiple seats, α possibility of fastening a seat belt winder in the set, α possibility of universalization of seat mounting in supporting structures, α possibility of connecting the shape to a structure element through introducing a positioning element into opening made in the main flange of the shape, α the solution fulfils all the strength parameters defined in suitable regulations.
The invention will now be described by way of examples and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: fig. 1 is a cross-section of the set going through lengthwise centre-line of the positioning element, fig. 2 is a view of the positioning element from the side of protrusions, fig. 3 is a cross-section through the set in plane A- A from fig. 1, and fig. 4 is an assembly diagram of the seat.
The set consists of a section 1 of "C" letter shape with bent into inside flanges 2 making an inside niche 3 and a positioning element 4. The positioning element 4 has the form of a plate of suitably smaller width than the width of a slot 5 of the shape 1 and of suitably higher length than the inside width of the niche 3 of the shape 1. The positioning element 4 has a threaded hole 6 and locating protrusions 7. The shape 1 is a lengthwise element of the frame 8 of the seat 9 or is permanently fastened along the frame 8 of the seat 9. To fix the seat to any element of supporting structure, e.g. a horizontal frame 10 or a leg 11, the positioning element 4 is introduced lengthwisely through the slot 5 into the niche 3 and is turned so that the edges of the positioning element 4 rest against inside surfaces of the side flanges of the shape 1 and the locating protrusions 6 are inserted after the flanges 2. A screw 12 is introduced into so prepared positioning element 4 through structural element 10, 11 and the seat 9 is positioned permanently and separably by screwing the screw 12 into the hole 6.
Slackening the screw 12 and moving the seat 9 to a suitable position and then retightening the screw 12 makes shifting of the seat 9.
In other variety of embodiments, an opening wider and longer than dimensions of the positionmg element 4 is made in the main flange of the shape 1. The positioning element 4 is introduced into the opening and the screw 12 is inserted into the hole 6 of the positioning element 4 through a hole in a structural element, with which the shape 1 is connected by contact with outside surface of the main flange. The positioning element 4 is locked in the niche 3 of the shape 1 by resting with the edge against a wall of the niche 3.
The shape 1 can be situated along a sidewall 13 or a floor 14 of a bus. The positioning element 4 can connect permanently and separably in a similar way the horizontal frame 10 of the supporting structure of the seat 9 to the sidewall 13 or the lower edge of the leg 11 to the floor 14. Any configuration of connections can be also obtained, e.g. one shape 1 connected to the sidewall 13 and the other shape 1 to the leg 11.

Claims

Patent claim
A set for fastening a seat of public transport vehicle, characterized in that it consists of a section (1) of "C" letter shape with bent into inside flanges (2) making an inside niche (3) where a positioning element (4) in the form of a plate having a shape of elongated element is mounted, of suitably smaller width than the width of the slot (5) of the shape (1) and of suitably higher length than the inside width of the shape (1), having a threaded hole (6) and locating protrusions (7).
