Fig. 5 is a partial cutaway view of the scrubber of the present invention; Fig. 6A and Fig. 6B are detail views of a flexible supporting member for the scrubber of the present invention; and
Fig. 7A, Fig. 7B and Fig. 7C are detail views of a transmission shaft of the present invention.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Referring to the accompanied drawings, a dish washer for sink according to the present invention will be described below in detail. A rotating shaft (3) is mounted in a washing room (100) of a sink (1) with a built-in heat insulating material (la), the rotating shaft is rotated by a motor (M). The rotating shaft is provided at the center therof with a water supply passage (301). A front connecting member (302), to which a scrubber is connected, is provided with a plurality of connecting projections (302a) and a plurality of connecting grooves (30b). A bundle of scrubbers (4) is provided at the center of a connecting member (4a) with a water supply hole (401). The water supply hole has a guiding passage (405) formed in the inside therof. The guiding passage is connected to a guiding passage (407) of a moving scrubber (406). The guiding passage (407) of the moving scrubber is provided at the center therof with a connecting bar (408). The connecting bar is connected to a plate for opening or closing the water (410), which is mounted at the outside of the water supply hole
(401) of the bundle of scrubbers. A spring (409) is provided around the connecting bar, and an O-ring (411) is mounted around the plate for opening or closing the water. The scrubbers and a plate for fixing the scrubbers are mixed with antibiotic ceramic substance. A core
(402) and a flexible supporting member (403) are provided at the inside of the scrubber. The core is formed of a heat-resistant elastic body and the flexible supporting member is in the form of a ring.
The flexible supporting member (403) may include a stainless steel wire (403a) and a guiding hole (403b) formed at one end of the stainless steel wire. The other end of the stainless steel wire is inserted flexibly into the guiding hole. Alternatively, the flexible supporting member (403) may include a stainless steel pipe (403a') and a round bar (403b') with a pin (403c') connecting the round bar to one end of stainless steel pipe. The other end of the round bar is inserted into the other end of the stainless steel pipe.
Magnets (5) are disposed at the contacting parts of a driving shaft (Ml) of the motor (M) and a shaft (M2) of a pulley (M3).
The operation of the present invention will now be described. The rotating shaft (3) is rotated by driving of the motor (M), causes the rotation of the bundle of scrubbers (4). By the operation of an actuating valve for supplying the washing water and an actuating valve for supply a detergent, which are mounted separately in the sink, the washing water and the detergent are supplied into the water supply hole (401) of the bundle of scrubbers (4). At the same time, dishes to be cleaned are applied between the bundle of scrubbers so that the dishes may be washed by the rubbing action caused between the dishes to be cleaned and the scrubbers. After the washing operation, the dishes are rinsed by spraying of the washing water on the cleaned dishes, and then the rinsed dishes are put in a bamboo basket. Finally, the dishes are dried on the drying table. The water used during the rinsing operation is collected into the washing room by an additional apparatus (not shown) for reuse thereof.
The bundle of the scrubbers according to the present invention is provided at the connecting member (4a) with the connecting projections and the connecting grooves, which are connected to the connecting grooves and the connecting projections formed at the connecting member (302) of the rotating shaft (3). The connecting projections and the connecting grooves of the connecting member (4a) of the bundle of the scrubbers are detached from the connecting grooves and the connecting projections formed at the connecting member (302) of the rotating shaft (3) in the direction opposite to the direction for the connection. As a result, the simple connection and detachment operation of the bundle of scrubbers is carried out, and the use of the bundle of scrubbers is convenient.
At the water supply hole (401) of the bundle of scrubbers (4) is provided the plate for opening or closing the water (410) and connected to the guiding passage (407) via the connecting bar (408), and the water supply hole (401) is blocked by the force of the spring (409). Consequently, when the dishes are washed, if the plate for opening or closing the water is opened by the pushing operation of the moving scrubber, the washing water, which is supplied from the rotating shaft, is supplied to the bundle of scrubbers (4) through the water supply hole (401). Otherwise, the plate for opening or closing the water blocks the water supply hole by the force of the spring (409), thereby the supply of the water is interrupted.
Therefore, when the dishes are washed by means of the scrubbers, the water washing operation and the rub washing operation are carried out independently, resulting in that the waste of the water is reduced.
Moreover, the scrubbers and the scrubber fixing plate of the present invention may be mixed with the antibiotic ceramic substance. As a result, the antibiotic . effect to bacteria is excellent so that the sanitary use of the scrubbers may be possible. In addition, since the scrubbers are provided at the inside thereof with the core, which is heat-resistant and resilient, the elasticity of the scrubbers is maintained and the form of the scrubber is not changed. Also, since the flexible supporting member (403) in the form of a circle is provided in the scrubbers in order to increase or decrease the outer diameter of the scrubbers, it is possible to adjust the outer diameter of the scrubbers depending on the standard of the dishes, whereby the use of the scrubbers is very convenient. Furthermore, since the magnets (5) are disposed at the contacting parts of the driving shaft (Ml) of the motor (M) and the shaft (M2) of the pulley (M3) such that the driving shaft and the shaft of the pulley are connected to each other by virtue of the magnetic force, the magnetic force at the contacting parts is released, null rotation occurs between the contacting parts of the driving shaft of the motor and the shaft of the pulley, and therefore the transmission of the power is blocked in case that the resistance applied to the scrubbers is excessive when the dishes are washed. If the resistance applied to the scrubbers is less than the magnetic force when the dishes are washed, the transmission of the power is enabled, and therefore the breakage of the motor is prevented.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
With the scrubbers of the present invention, any waste of the water is prevented by virtue of the structures for opening and closing the water, the sanitary scrubbers are provided by the effect of the antibiotic ceramic substance, the elasticity of the scrubbers is maintained and the outer diameter of the scrubbers is adjusted depending on the standard of the dishes with convenience by virtue of the function of the core made of elastic body and the flexible supporting member, and even the breakage of the motor is prevented by keeping the friction resistance of the driving sections adequately. Conclusively, the dish washer of the present invention has very high practical usability and very high economical efficiency since it can be mounted detachably to the sink.
