Abstract

The invention concerns a system adaptable to an armchair or a bed comprising: a bedframe (2), a single lever (3) for controlling two gas springs associated with one or several mobile elements namely: a chest-lift, a headrest, a leg-lift and a telescopic or pivoting footrest. The lever comprises two actuating surfaces (4), articulated by a pin (4) located on a lug (6). Two gas spring support pins (7) are located on either side of the lever capable of actuating the gas springs. A ratchet lug (8) enabling to adjust the position of the gas springs is fixed on a pin (9) comprising two mobile lever arms (10) with several rollers (11) with offset axis so as to articulate the chest-lift (12) and the headrest (13) with an offset movement on said mobile support.
