Abstract

The invention relates to a method for operating a dual-band or multi-band mobile radio terminal and a mobile radio terminal for implementing thereof. The invention provides the use of a multi-band mobile radio terminal of that type so that the best possible service quality is provided to the subscriber. Therefore, the input information concerning service grade requested is analyzed which allows to select a frequency band giving the best medium for service to be provided, complying with predefined criteria.

Voraussetzung dafür ist, daß der Teilnehmer eine entsprechende Subskription für diese Frequenzbänder hat.
