Abstract
The invention relates to a modification in the way future toilets will be built. According to said modification, a small pond is formed at the water outlet to the toilet bowl with the purpose of collecting water from leaks, which is then sent through a small tube for flushing the toilet, thereby producing a visible and audible signal indicating the existence of said leaks.
Description
DETECTORDE FUGAS ENLOS EXCUSADOS FUTUROSDETECTOR OF LEAKS IN THE FUTURE EXCUSED
OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to an improvement in the construction of future toilets, so that internal water leaks are channeled through a tube to be discharged into the toilet bowl thus producing a visible and audible signal of the existence of they.
OF THE INVENTION (figure Nθ.1) The current toilets are constructed in such a way that when the water discharge system is operated, a siphon effect is produced in the cup, so that in this way they are discharged to the drain (2) completely all waste products.
To achieve the above, about 80% of the discharge water reaches the cup through an upper tunnel (3) and washes the toilet bowl, 20% of the remaining water is transported through an internal tunnel (4) at the base of the toilet in order to cause the siphon effect.
Currently, most of the toilets that exist in the Mexican Republic are of the low tank type, (8) followed by the fluxometer and in a small proportion of high tank.
In the high and low tank type there are two main causes that lead to water leaks:
The first is due to deficiencies in the closing of the water outlet valve
2) The second is caused by a faulty operation of the water inlet valve to the tank which does not close completely due to problems of the float, the closing rubber or the mechanism of operation of the same, the above produces an increase in the storage of water in the tank out of the ordinary so that water leaks through the spill tube (7).
In the fluxometer type, the leak is caused by a defective closure of the main valve, all the small leaks described above are transported to the drain through the internal tunnel (4) producing the siphon, without it being possible to detect them easily and easily. They are responsible for a huge worldwide waste of drinking water.
At present it is very urgent to put a limit to these water leaks given the scarcity and price of it; In the coming years, water will be increasingly requested and its use will cause enormous economic and social problems.
The present application mentions a procedure to improve the construction of future toilets so that they detect all water leaks by notifying the owner in a visual and auditory way of the existence of them, so that they fix them as soon as possible It is possible to save large amounts of money for personal water consumption, and to the country enormous investments necessary for the timely supply of water.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN (figura No.2)DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Figure No.2)
The invention to improve the operation of future toilets consists in modifying the construction of the tunnel of the toilet bowl, precisely where the water is received from the reservoir tank, to form a small storage tank (9) 50 mm in diameter by 10 mm. deep, to receive water from leaks. This small tank must be drained by means of a small anticorrosive metal tube (10) (Copper, Aluminum, Stainless Steel) of about 4 mm. inside diameter fairy toilet bowl.
El tubo del drenaje terminará en la taza del excusado a una altura de unosThe drain tube will end in the toilet bowl at a height of about
40 mm. del espejo del agua, de tal manera que el goteo o chorro del agua proveniente de las fugas, golpe dicho espejo produdendo una señal visible y audible, de la existencia de dichas fugas.40 mm from the mirror of the water, in such a way that the dripping or jet of the water coming from the leaks, hit said mirror producing a visible and audible signal, of the existence of said leaks.
