Abstract

L'invention concerne un étalon Fabry-Perot présentant une perte limitée et une stabilité importante. Dans le mode de réalisation préféré, cet étalon Fabry-Perot comprend un boîtier constitué par un matériau possédant un coefficient bas de dilatation thermique, une fibre optique couplée au boîtier afin de produire un signal optique et une surface réfléchissante faisant, de préférence, partie du boîtier afin de recevoir le signal optique depuis la fibre optique. Dans ce mode de réalisation préféré, la surface réfléchissante renvoie pratiquement le signal optique reçu à la fibre optique. Si on le souhaite, on peut placer une plaque d'accord dans une cavité située entre la surface réfléchissante et la fibre optique. On peut utiliser cette plaque d'accord afin d'accorder la cavité entre la surface réfléchissante et la fibre optique à une longueur d'onde souhaitée.
