Abstract

L'invention concerne des articles de soutien formés des tissus en tricot circulaire à teneur relativement élevée en spandex et constitués d'autres fibres en quantité suffisante pour que l'utilisateur bénéficie d'un confort et d'un soutien maximum. Lesdits tissus à teneur élevée en spandex sont nouveaux dans l'industrie textile, car la quantité admise de spandex ajoutée dans lesdits tissus a été limitée en raison de la résistance, du module et de l'allongement de telles fibres. Bien que le spandex permette d'obtenir les propriétés recherchées dans certains articles (tels que les brassières, les gaines et les armatures médicales, les suspensoirs et autres articles similaires), les tentatives précédentes de fabrication de tissus et de vêtements à teneur élevée en spandex ont abouties à des articles constricteurs trop inconfortables pour l'utilisateur. Les tissus et vêtements décrits dans cette invention présentent les propriétés recherchées du spandex et ils sont plus confortables à porter. L'invention concerne également le procédé de fabrication de tels tissus.
