Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant d'effectuer automatiquement le repérage, le suivi et la planification de l'expédition d'objets par des transporteurs tels des camions de livraison, des navires ou des avions. Une étiquette de repérage est fixée à chaque objet. L'étiquette de repérage et le système de transport utilisent des techniques telles le système mondial de localisation, la technologie cellulaire, et le codage par code à barres, et des capteurs tels ceux permettant de mesurer la température, la pression et le bruit en tant que sources d'information de repérage. On attribue des règles logiques et des pondérations hiérarchiques à chaque source, pour une condition donnée de manière à effectuer le repérage de la manière la plus précise possible. On effectue le repérage en continu durant tout le trajet de l'objet. On applique un autre ensemble de règles logiques pour prendre des mesure d'intervention en cours d'expédition. Par exemple, s'il apparaît que l'objet est hors programme, on effectue des modifications en accélération ou en ralentissement de l'expédition. Le système de transport peut être intégré au sein de l'entreprise d'un client pour faciliter la planification et la gestion de production. Le système dispose d'une interface usager conviviale permettant d'afficher des informations concernant les articles, le temps et la distance.
