Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux armes à feu à poing portatives; l'objet de l'invention est destiné à être utilisé par des civils à des fins d'autodéfense au moyen d'un coup de feu destiné à projeter des éléments causant des traumas ou produire des signaux sonores et lumineux (à savoir un flash de coup de feu). Selon l'invention, l'arme d'autodéfense contient un récipient pour cartouches et des canons se présentant comme des douilles de cartouches avec dispositif de mise à feu électrique. Le mécanisme d'actionnement contient une source de courant par impulsions à action magnétoélectrique ou électrochimique par impulsions; cette source est couplée électriquement à un dispositif de distribution qui contient une unité de contacts. Le fait que le canon se présente comme une douille de cartouche à dispositif de mise à feu et que l'on utilise une source de courant électrique pour l'actionnement permet de créer une arme d'autodéfense efficace et exclut en même temps son utilisation à des fins criminelles.
