Abstract

The invention relates to techniques of burning natural and liquefied gases with the aid of catalytic heating elements used for heat recovery. A catalytic heating element comprises a tubular structure embodied in the form of cylinder or oval shape and two barrels used as a continuation of the tubular structure and covered outside with a catalyzer, a gas distributor provided with a unit supplying a gas-air mixture, and. The invention ensures ecologically pure oxidation of the hydrocarbon gases in such a way that it is possible to keep the CO content in waste gases to no more than 10 ppm and the methane content to no more than 30 ppm, in addition to preventing the presence of nitrogen oxides.
