Abstract

The feeder which is in a shape of the closed band (2), particularly in a form of the caterpillar. The band (2) contains panels (3) with at least one rotary head (4) in every panel (3) wherein the rotary head is used for mounting the blanks in the upper part (5) of the panels (3). The band is connected through the guiding wheel (6) with the mechanism (7) of incrementally - rotational movement. The rotary heads cooperate with the frictional belt (9) which is pressed by the rotary elements (13). The frictional belt (9) is connected with the driving gear (10). A heating device (11), which is preferably in the form of the tunnel, is placed along the section of minimal distance (14) between the external profiles of the leading wheels (6). The device according to the invention is particularly beneficial as a blank heating and feeding device for producing containers from thermoplastic semi-products, particularly bottles from PET.

Description

A BLANK HEATI NG AND FEEDING DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING CONTAINERS FROM THERMOPLASTIC SEMI-PRODUCTS , PARTICULARLY BOTTLES FROM PET
The invention concerns the blank heating and feeding device for manufacturing containers from thermoplastic semi - products particularly bottles from PET
There is known from the Polish patent no 172797 the device for manufacturing the hollow frames by blowing up. The device contains the rotary circular device which transfers the blanks made of PET. The device acts as the feeder. The rotary circular transferring device is placed between the heating device and the forming blown - up set and it is in a shape of a circle concentric with the arc of a circle. On the wheal are placed forming blown - up sets. The wheal is provided with elements. The elements act as semi- products grips and are regularly placed on the wheal. The number of the elements of the transporting device where the elements are the semi - product wheals is multiple to the perfoπriing blown -up sets. The elements which are the semi -products grips are framed at the ends of the arms and the arms are placed radial. The number of arms with elements, their placement within the transporting device is strictly connected with the number of grips which are transporting the blanks. It is also connected with the number of the forrning sets. The mutual positioning the heating device towards the transporting device is in that way, that trajectory of the blanks which are placed on the heating device is tangential to the trajectory of the elements which are semi -product grips and placed on the ends of the arms.
It is know from the Polish description of the utility model no. 51 220 the device for forrning plastic containers by blowing up. There are two pairs of grips placed between the panels and the panels are connected with brackets. Every pair of the bracket has two shackles, between the shackles is the connecting panel which has the horizontal hole. In the hole, the frame blown - up pin is placed and it has the threading part at the end. The pneumatic motor cylinder is fixed to the panels between the guides. The cylinder has the piston rod connected with the shackle which is placed near the opposite panel.
The blank heating and feeding device for manufacturing containers from thermoplastic semi - products particularly bottles from PET according to the invention containing the heating device (stove), feeder with driving gear for heating the blanks which is placed on the heads (msCshroom shaped). According to the invention the feeder is in a shape of the closed band, particularly in a form of the caterpillar. The band contains panels with at least one rotary head in every panel. The rotary head is used for mounting the blanks in the upper part of the panels. The band is connected through the guiding wheal with the mechanism of incrementally -rotational movement. The rotary heads cooperate with the frictional belt which is pressed by the rotary elements. The frictional belt is connected with the driving gear.
The heating device, which is preferably in the form of the tunnel, is placed along the section of minimal distance between the external profiles of the leading wheals.
The beneficial technical effects of the application of the device according to the invention include relatively simple and easy manufacturing of all parts of the device, its maintenance and repair. The subject of the invention is presented by the example of its embodiment in the picture where fig 1 presents in the end elevation the band with panels which have the caterpillar profile and the band is driven by the mechanism of incrementally -rational movement for heating the blanks. The blanks are situated on the rotational heads (mushroom shaped)and are driven by the mechanism having the frictional band. Fig 1 illustrates also the position of the heating device. Fig 2 shows the device in the top view. It shows the profile, preferably having the caterpillar bands for heating the blanks. The panels with the blanks are placed on 5the rotary heads which are driven by the frictional belt and the pressing belt which is driven by the rotary elements. Fig 2 illustrates also the position of the incrementally -rotational mechanism of the band with the blanks and position of the heating device.
The feeder which is in a shape of the closed band 2, particularly in a form of the caterpillar and the band contains panels 3 with at least one rotary head 4 in every panel where the rotary head is used for mounting the blanks in the upper part 5 of the panels and the band is connected through the guiding wheal 6 with the mechanism 7 of incrementally - rotational movement and the rotary heads cooperate with the frictional belt 9 which is pressed by the rotary elements 13 and The frictional belt 9 is connected with the driving gear 10 also the heating device 11, which is preferably in the form of the tunnel, is placed along the section of minimal distance 14 between the external profiles of the leading wheals 6.
The frictional belt 9 is driven by the frictional wheals 8, and the belt is pressed by the rotary pressing elements 13, the elements are a part of the fixing band 12.
The operation of the device according to the invention is described below.
On the rotary heads 4, which are situated in the panels of the band, 3 are placed blanks 5. The blanks are placed in the upper part of the band 2, near the right guiding wheal 6. The left leading wheal 6 is driven by the incrementally -rotational mechanism 7 according to the arrow leftwards. The wheal causes the movement of the band 2 with panels 3together with the heads 4 which are situated into the panels. The heads simultaneously are moving leftwards and turning around the axis of the blank 5. The rotational movement 4 around its axis is caused by the frictional belt 9. The belt is pressed to the rotary heads 4 by the rotary elements 13 which are placed into the fixing belt, the frictional belt 9 is rotated leftwards or rightwards from the frictional wheal 8, the wheal is driven by the driving gear 10.
The blanks moving from the right leading wheal 6 to the left and simultaneously rotating around their axis are heated in the heating device 1. Preferably the heating device is in a shape of the tunnel. After moving the blanks (which were heated to the desired temperature) to the left wheal 6, the blanks are removed.
Another embodiment not shown in the picture, is the device with blowing up mechanism of the blanks 9 to the desired shape, particularly bottles. On the rotary heads 4 new blanks 5 are being continually placed according to the movement of the band 2 together with the rotary heads 4.

CLAIM
The blank heating and feeding device for manufacturing containers from thermoplastic semi - products particularly bottles from PET containing the heating device (stove), feeder with driving gear for heating the blanks which is placed on the heads (mashroom shaped) is characterised in, that the feeder which is in a shape of the closed band 2, particularly in a form of the caterpillar and the band contains panels 3 with at least one rotary head 4 in every panel where the rotary head is used for mounting the blanks in the upper part 5 of the panels and the band is connected through the guiding wheal 6 with the mechanism 7 of incrementally -rotational movement and the rotary heads cooperate with the frictional belt 9 which is pressed by the rotary elements 13 and The frictional belt 9 is connected with the driving gear 10 also the heating device 11, which is preferably in the form of the tunnel, is placed along the section of minimal distance 14 between the external profiles of the leading wheals 6.
