Le procédé de correction de l'image consiste en ce qui suit: au moyen d'un système matriciel de modules (7) de guides optiques (8) on effectue la formation et le décalage spatial des panneaux indicateurs de microfragments d'images, activés par des cellules d'affichage (3); un champ d'informations ininterrompu peut être formé à la surface de projection (4) de l'écran. On effectue en même temps la mise à l'échelle des macrofragments des ces images en modifiant la distance entre les centres des fragments. La composition matricielle de l'écran se distingue en ce que cet écran comprend un système matriciel de modules (7) de guides optiques (8), l'ouverture d'entrée de chacun d'entre eux ayant une forme et des dimensions identiques à celles de l'ouverture de sortie de la cellule d'affichage correspondante (3) et étant adjacente à cette dernière. Les modules (7) sont formés de manière à ce que dans chaque module (7) la distance entre les centres des guides optiques adjacents (8) dans le plan de leurs ouvertures de sortie soit différente de la distance entre les centres des cellules (3) qui correspondent à ces guides optiques. En variante, on fabrique les systèmes de modules (7) en créant des monocouches de guides optiques.
