Abstract

The invention relates to an injection nozzle (10) for a fuel injection system. The injection nozzle comprises a pressure space (26), which is provided with a fluid entry (24) and a fluid exit (30), and comprises a valve seat (32) around the fluid exit. The injection nozzle additionally comprises a valve element (34) which can rest on the valve seat in order to close the fluid exit, and comprises a piezo-actuator (40), which is provided with an actuating extension (42) that can act upon the valve element. The aim of the invention is to achieve a temperature compensation using little effort. To this end, a displaceable wall part (28) is provided on which the valve seat is configured and which borders the pressure space on the side of the valve seat. In addition, a temperature equalizing element (44) is provided which interacts with the displaceable wall part and which displaces the wall part according to a temperature-related change in length of the piezo-actuator.
