Description

The present invention relates to a perpetual calendar.
The object of the invention is to provide a perpetual calendar which makes it possible to easily find any desired date in predetermined years and centuries. To this end, the invention relates to a perpetual calendar having the characteristics defined in claim 1.
The present invention provides for the combination of at least one centenary table representing the years of a century associated with the perpetual calendar divided into fourteen groups of regular or leap years that start with different weekdays and fourteen annual calendars corresponding respectively to these groups of years.
The fourteen annual calendars of the perpetual calendar provided according to the invention represent regular or leap years which start with different weekdays.
Chaque tableau centenaire associé au calendrier perpétuel selon l'invention est agencé de manière que les années régulières et bissextiles d'un siècle donné soient différenciées et réparties en groupes d'années qui commencent par des jours de semaine différents et correspondent respectivement aux quatorze calendriers annuels;Each centenary table associated with the perpetual calendar according to the invention is arranged so that the regular and leap years of a given century are differentiated and divided into groups of years which begin with different weekdays and correspond respectively to the fourteen annual calendars ;
Regular years that start with different weekdays are represented in a first series of seven annual calendars, respectively, and leap years that start with different weekdays are represented in a second series of seven annual calendars, respectively.
Each centenary table associated with the perpetual calendar represents the years of a given century divided into groups of regular and leap years which start with different weekdays and relate respectively to corresponding annual calendars chosen from among the fourteen annual calendars of the first series of annual calendars representing regular years or the second series of annual calendars representing leap years.
The fourteen calendars and the centenary table corresponding to each century associated with the perpetual calendar according to the invention can advantageously be provided with a first mark corresponding to the regular years represented in the first series of annual calendars, with a second mark corresponding to leap years represented in the second series of annual calendars and seven complementary marks corresponding respectively to seven groups of regular or leap years that start with the same day of the week.
Le calendrier perpétuel selon l'invention est expliqué ci-après à titre d'exemple à l'aide du dessin, dans lequel:The perpetual calendar according to the invention is explained below by way of example with the aid of the drawing, wherein:
Fig. 2 à 11 montrent dix tableaux centenaires selon l'invention.Fig. 1 shows a centennial table and the first two months of fourteen different annual calendars which start with different weekdays. Fig. 2 to 11 show ten centenary paintings according to the invention.
Fig. 12a - 18a show seven annual calendars respectively representing regular years which start with different weekdays.
Fig. 12b - 18b show seven annual calendars representing leap years that start with different weekdays.
The centenary table T20 according to FIG. 1 represents the years of the twentieth century which begin with different weekdays from Monday to Sunday and are distributed in groups of regular years in columns A1 to A7 and leap days in columns Bl to B7.
Fig. 1 also shows the first two months of the corresponding annual calendars A1 to A7 and B1 to B7 respectively representing the regular and leap years which start with different weekdays from Monday to Sunday.
The centenary tables T21 to T30 according to Fig. 2 to 11 respectively represent the years of the twenty-first century to the thirtieth century distributed in columns Al to A7 for the regular years and B 1 to B7 for the leap years, and this in the same way as in table T20 according to Fig. 1 described above.
Fig. 2 montre ainsi un tableau centenaire représentant les années du vingt et unième siècle réparties sur quatorze colonnes comprenant les sept colonnes Al à A7 représentant des années régulières et les sept colonnes Bl à B7 représentant des années bissextiles. Les colonnes Al, Bl; A2, B2; A3, B3 ;Fig. 2 thus shows a centennial table representing the years of the twenty-first century distributed over fourteen columns comprising the seven columns A1 to A7 representing regular years and the seven columns Bl to B7 representing leap years. Columns Al, Bl; A2, B2; A3, B3;
A4, B4; A5, B5; Aό; B6 et A7 B7 constituent sept groupes d'années régulières ou bissextiles qui commencent respectivement par des jours de semaine consécutifs du lundi au dimanche.A4, B4; A5, B5; Aό; B6 and A7 B7 constitute seven groups of regular or leap years which begin respectively with consecutive weekdays from Monday to Sunday.
Les colonnes Al à A7 dans le tableau centenaire selon Fig. 2 correspondent en conséquence à sept calendriers annuels Al à A7 représentant des années régulières et les colonnes Bl à B7 représentant des années bissextiles indiquées en caractères gras correspondent à sept calendriers annuels Bl à B7.Columns A1 to A7 in the centennial table according to Fig. 2 therefore correspond to seven annual calendars A1 to A7 representing regular years and the columns Bl to B7 representing leap years indicated in bold type correspond to seven annual calendars Bl to B7.
The years represented in each column of the centenary table according to Fig. 2 therefore relate to an annual calendar given from the annual calendars A1 to A7 or B1 to B7.
Fig. 3 à 11 montrent des tableaux centenaires représentant respectivement les années du vingt- deuxième au trentième siècle en quatorze colonnes, et cela de la même manière que déjà décrite ci-dessus par rapport à Fig. 1 et 2.Fig. 3 to 11 show centenary tables representing respectively the years of the twenty-second to the thirtieth century in fourteen columns, and this in the same manner as already described above with respect to FIG. 1 and 2.
A first series of seven annual calendars A1 to A7 according to FIG. 12a to 18a represent regular 365-day years and includes the following annual calendars: Al which begins with a Monday, A2 with a Tuesday, A3 with a Wednesday. A4 by Thursday, A5 by Friday, A6 by Saturday and A7 by Sunday.
A second series of seven annual calendars B1 to B7 according to FIG. 12b - 18b represents leap years of 366 days and includes the following annual calendars: Bl which begins with a Monday, B2 by a Tuesday, B3 by a Wednesday, B4 by a Thursday, B5 by a Friday, B6 by a Saturday and B7 by a Sunday.
As is evident from FIGS. 12a - 18a and Fig. 12b - 18b, the distribution of the days over the weeks and the months in each of the annual calendars A1 to A7 and Bl to B7 essentially depends on the day of the week which coincides with the first of January and on the number of days of the month of February in each calendar annual.
The perpetual calendar according to the invention as described to determine any date through a table indicating the centenary annual calendar with the date in question.
Various modifications of the perpetual calendar according to the invention can be envisaged compared to the example described. Each centenary table associated with the perpetual calendar according to the invention can be arranged in any suitable manner. Leap years can be distributed and represented in each centenary table and differentiated from regular years in any way allowing to refer to the corresponding calendars. Similarly, the layout of the fourteen annual calendars depicting regular or leap years that start with different week days according to the invention can be selected from any appropriate way.
The fourteen annual calendars are applicable without any limitation and the perpetual calendar according to the invention can extend over any space of time desired by associating as many predetermined centenary tables which may be necessary to include all the years of possible interest.
