Abstract
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de stérilisation d'objets pour bébés constitué par un récipient hermétique dans lequel s'opère une stérilisation par ultraviolets destinée à tuer les bactéries et autres organismes pathogènes. Le dispositif comprend un récipient horizontal ou vertical dans lequel on place des objets pour bébés en vue de la stérilisation. Dans le récipient, une source d'ultraviolets irradie les articles pour bébés et tue les micro-organismes pouvant se trouver sur lesdits articles. On peut également appliquer un rayonnement ultraviolet de moins de 200 nm, ce qui provoque un dégagement de gaz d'ozone doté de caractéristiques germicides. Le pouvoir stérilisant du gaz d'ozone qui circule à l'intérieur et autour des articles pour nourrissons vient s'ajouter à celui du rayonnement ultraviolet. Un interrupteur coupe la source d'ultraviolets à l'ouverture du récipient.
