Abstract

A vibration sensor with a pressure housing is disclosed, in which the pressure housing (2) may be mounted under pressure, on a vibration inducing component. A sensor arrangement in the form of a piezo-ceramic disc (7) is fixed to the exterior of the pressure housing (2), with an axial tensioning force on a support surface (21), between contact discs (6). A seismic mass (8), the piezo-ceramic disc (7), the contact discs (6.1, 6.2), lying axially on both sides of the piezo-ceramic disc (7) and, where necessary, insulating discs or layers (20, 26, 22, 23) are glued or soldered together, on the axial limiting surfaces and thus form a compact sensor package.
