Abstract

The present invention provides a stick glue that can prevent the loss of the cap during the use of glue by allowing the use of glue only when the cap is available, and that can eliminate trouble during the use of glue because it is not necessary to have extra place drawer, pocket, desk top, etc. for keeping the cap during the use. The stick glue has an ability of preventing the loss of the cap (1) during the use of glue by making it impossible to use stick glue unless the cap (1) is turned by inserting the cap (1) outward of the dog chuck (3) that is assembled on the lower part of the body (2).

Description

STICK GLUE
Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a stick glue for preventing loss of its cap.
Background of the Invention Generally used stationery glue includes liquid glue that uses liquid-state glue by pushing the tube, and stick glue that uses semisol id-state stick-form glue by turning the dog on the lower part of the body. But year after year the tendency is toward more use of stick glue than liquid glue due to its convenience and practicality. Since the majority of the users are elementary school students and kindergarten children, the caps are frequently lost during use. Apart from economical waste, such losses have an adverse effect on the atmosphere of learning. If the cap of stick glue is lost, it is impossible to use the glue regardless of the quantity of the glue remaining. This does not set a good example to students who should learn frugality and saving. On the other hand, stick glue or liquid glue is frequently used in office and factory, but the drawbacks are that it is impossible to use the remaining glue because it dries up when the cap is lost during use in many cases, and that economic loss is great and work does not progress smoothly because a new one is to be purchased in such cases.
Summary of the Invention It is an object of this invention to provide a stick glue that can prevent the loss of the cap during the use of glue by allowing the use of glue only when the cap is available, and that can eliminate trouble during the use of glue because it is not necessary to have extra place drawer, pocket, desk top, etc. for keeping the cap during the use.
In accordance with this present invention a stick glue comprising a body for containing a semisol id-state stick-form glue, a cap which is covered on the upper end of the body, and a dog chuck for lifting the semisol id-state stick-form glue along the inner wall of the body wherein the stick glue has an ability of preventing the loss of the cap during the use of glue by making it impossible to use stick glue unless the cap is turned by inserting the cap outward of the dog chuck that is assembled on the lower part of the body.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Other objects and aspects of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:
FIG. 1 is a front view of a glue in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention;
FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the glue illustrated in FIG. 1; and
FIG. 3 is a view similar to FIG. 2, illustrating a glue in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention.
Detailed Description of the Embodiments
As shown in FIG. 1, a stick glue comprising a body 2 for containing a semisol id-state stick-form glue, a cap 1 which is covered on the upper end of the body 2, and a dog chuck 3 for lifting the semisol id-state stick-form glue along the inner wall of the body 2. The cap 1 plays the role of a cap when it is not being used as it is assembled on the top of the body like conventional glue. When it is being used, the cap 1 is separated from the body 2 and assembled on the lower part of the body 2 to be inserted inward of the dog chuck 3 as illustrated in FIG. 2. Next, when the cap 1 is turned clockwise or counterclockwise, the stick glue in the body 2 is pushed out of the body 2 from its upper end or the stick glue that was pushed out is pushed into the body 2 again. This kind of structural action is a published art, so its detailed description is omitted in the present design.
Since the cap 1 plays the role of dog as mentioned above, its surface is treated knurled for easy turning by hand. And the surface of the part to be inserted into the dog chuck 3 is treated smooth for easy insertion. As shown in FIG. 2, the dog chuck 3 is assembled inside the body not to be seen from outside unlike the conventional product. Therefore, it will be difficult to turn the dog chuck using fingers. That is, the dog chuck is not allowed to play the role of a dog chuck unless the cap and dog chuck are joined together. Since the glue cannot be used without the cap, it cannot be lost when the stick glue of the present design is being used.
And FIG. 3 shows the second practical example of the present design, which enables the use by turning the cap 1 outward of the dog chuck 3. That is, compared with the example of FIG. 2, we can see the direction of inserting the cap into the dog chuck is opposite. At this time, we can form boss band 3a on the dog chuck, whereas there is groove la on the inside of the conventional cap. Therefore, it is expected that the cap cannot come off easily if elongation band 3a and the groove la are aligned each other. But it is not that the surface of the dog chuck should always have boss bands, and it is a matter of course that the present design can be used even without boss bands.
The use of the present design is not limited to stick glue. It can be applied to women's lipstick or other similar cosmetics, so its range of application could be wide.
As we have seen above, in the present design, the cap 1 plays not only the role of a cap but also the role of a dog by being inserted into the dog chuck 3 so that the loss of the cap is prevented because the glue cannot be used without the cap on; there is no inconvenience because no extra place is necessary for keeping the cap 1 during the use of glue', and the overall looks are clean and refined because the dog chuck is not exposed outward unlike conventional stick glue.

Claims

What is claimed is:
1. A stick glue comprising a body for containing a semisol id-state stick-form glue, a cap which is covered on the upper end of the body, and a dog chuck for lifting the semisol id-state stick-form glue along the inner wall of the body wherein the stick glue has an ability of preventing the loss of the cap during the use of glue by making it impossible to use stick glue unless the cap is turned by inserting the cap outward of the dog chuck that is assembled on the lower part of the body.
2. A stick glue according to claim 1 wherein further includes an ability of preventing the loss of the cap during the use of glue by making it impossible to use stick glue unless the cap is turned by inserting the cap inward of the dog chuck that is assembled on the lower part of the body.
