Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour obtenir des particules chargées accélérées; le procédé consiste à faire passer un faisceau de particules à travers des structures d'accélération linéaires, reliées entre elles par des organes magnétiques de déflexion, puis à le diriger dans un système de séparation des faisceaux. On accélère les particules en suivant une trajectoire spatiale tridimensionnelle. L'invention permet d'obtenir des valeurs d'accélération élevées dans une installation à dimensions réduites; l'installation se distingue par un degré élevé de sécurité parasismique, un caractère universel de l'installation et un accroissement de la puissance de l'accélérateur.
