DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a brochure including a form and an associated manufacturing method. It also relates to a process and an information processing system implementing this brochure.

By brochure is meant here any document consisting of a set of printed sheets and bound together, whatever the format, thickness, external appearance, or type of cover or binding. This includes in particular but not limited to booklets, fascicles, notebooks, guides or catalogs.

The distribution and use of administrative forms is widespread throughout the world and for many situations, whether it is access to services or benefits, registration for exams or competitions, the constitution of files for civil acts such as marriage, obtaining certificates or attestations, or even entering the territory of a State. These forms, whether issued by public or parapublic administrations or bodies or issued by private companies such as service providers, are generally given to users, in the form of a single loose-leaf or of several associated carbonless sheets or not to explanatory documents. However, there are situations in which it is advisable to associate with the delivery of a form, the supply of a set of useful information relating to the transaction covered by this form or even information and messages to advertising character. In the latter case, the revenue from advertisers can also help cover the costs of manufacturing and distributing the forms.

In this context, we can cite for example marriage directory guides including legal information, information and advertising messages from service providers related to marriage, and forms for the constitution of a marriage file, among which a form CERFA premarital certificate. These forms are printed on sheets of material and format identical to the other sheets of the guide, these sheets being organized in bound sheets.

It should be noted that if a holder of this guide actually wishes to use one of these inserted forms to deliver it, after having filled it out, to the competent services, he must tear off the sheet containing this form to separate it from the sheet in which it is included, with real risks of deterioration of the edges of this form.

More generally, the forms provided in existing brochures and guides are simple reproductions of forms distributed elsewhere separately, and do not provide any other functionality. However, there are frequently specific modes of use of these forms, in which the information entered manually or by computer means is collected and processed in order to generate resulting information intended to be transferred to another medium, for example a passport. , an administrative book, a family book or even a health book. These operations are currently long, often tedious and costly.

The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a new concept of brochure including a form, which allows more efficient and faster processing of the information collected in this form.

This objective is achieved with a brochure comprising a plurality of sheets linked by binding means, and a form detachable from said binding means, this form comprising a plurality of input zones provided for receiving handwritten data or information and a self-adhesive label. removable adhesive.

According to the invention, this form further comprises, within a detachable flap, a first detachable fixing part, a second detachable part for entering data and identification, and a third detachable part for supporting said self-adhesive label. adhesive, and the removable self-adhesive label comprises a receiving part intended to be fixed by its adhesive face on an external support and a connecting part integral with said receiving part and designed to receive on its adhesive side said detachable part fixing previously detached from said flap detachable and to which the second detachable gripping part is temporarily attached.

With this characteristic structure of the detachable flap, it becomes possible to offer efficient processing of a disembarkation and embarkation form. Indeed, it suffices, for a formalities agent receiving from the hands of a traveler arriving the form, to detach from said form the detachable flap, to remove the self-adhesive label and to affix the reception part of this reception to a page from this traveller's passport, then simply attach the second part of data entry to the part of this link of this label. The receiving part of the label is intended to receive an official stamp of arrival. When this traveler presents his passport again at the time of departure, it will suffice for a formalities officer to simply detach the part for entering data and identification, only the part for receiving the adhesive label then remaining on his passport. It is on this reception area that the formalities officer can then affix an official exit stamp.

In addition, a brochure according to the invention makes it possible to combine the important function of providing an administrative boarding and disembarking form with a function of informing the traveler about the country or region in which the latter arrives. . It can be tourist, administrative, economic, advertising information and more generally any information likely to interest a holder of a brochure according to the invention.

In a brochure according to the invention, the second detachable data entry part can advantageously include means of identification such as a bar code assigned uniquely to each form. These means of identification make it possible in particular to create, when a traveler arrives, to create a personal identity card for this traveler from the data entered on the form. In a practical embodiment, the first detachable fixing part can be arranged above the second detachable data entry part within said detachable flap, while the third detachable label support part can be arranged below the second detachable part of data entry. Furthermore, the connecting part within the self-adhesive label has the form of a strip substantially perpendicular to the binding means of the brochure.

The detachable form includes, for example, a series of three parts including at the end the detachable part. The detachable parts can be connected by zones of least resistance to tearing to connect the detachable parts. The form is made of a material different from that of the other sheets contained in said brochure.

Furthermore, the removable label is designed to prevent any operation of removing said label after application thereof on a document other than the third support part, or any operation of falsification of the coded information.

According to another aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for manufacturing a brochure according to the invention, this brochure comprising a plurality of sheets connected by binding means, and a form detachable from said binding means, this form comprising a plurality of input zones provided for receiving handwritten data or information and a removable self-adhesive label.

This method is characterized in that it comprises a step for producing a detachable flap comprising a first detachable fixing part, a second detachable part for entering data, and a third detachable part for supporting a self-adhesive label.

The method according to the invention can also advantageously comprise a step for producing a removable self-adhesive label comprising a receiving part intended to be fixed by its adhesive face on an external support and a connecting part integral with said receiving part and designed to receive on its adhesive side said detachable fixing part previously detached from said detachable flap and to which the second detachable gripping part is temporarily attached.

According to yet another aspect of the invention, a method is proposed for processing information collected on forms inserted in brochures according to the invention, characterized in that it comprises: - a reading of the information recorded on detached forms said brochures, a reading of identification data written on the second detachable part of data entry and identification, and

- processing of said information read in combination with the identification data, to generate personal identity cards. A system is also proposed for processing information collected on forms inserted in brochures according to the invention and implementing the processing method according to the invention, characterized in that it comprises:

- means for reading information entered on forms extracted from said brochures,

means for reading identification data written on the second detachable data entry and identification part, and

- Means for processing said information read in combination with identification data, to generate personal identity cards. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the description below. In the appended drawings given by way of nonlimiting examples:

We will now describe, with reference to FIG. 1, a first embodiment of a brochure according to the invention, at the same time as a process for using this brochure.

We therefore consider a brochure 1 according to the invention intended for example to be distributed to passengers of an airline before their arrival at a destination airport. This brochure, which can have a format substantially equivalent to that of a passport, contains a set of linked sheets containing information on the country of destination and a form F 'for disembarkation / embarkation, detachable from brochure 1' and comprising three flaps V1, V2, V3 can be folded or unfolded as required. This form F 'is connected to the binding of the brochure 1' by a lateral edge of the first flap V1 along a first line D1 of less resistance to tearing which can be achieved for example by a conventional perforation technique or any other suitable technique. The first and second parts V1-V2 of the form F 'are dedicated for example to the entry of information on the passenger to whom this brochure has been given and on their journey, while the third part V3, connected to the second part V2 by a second line D2 of less resistance to tearing, is intended to be detachable and to be the subject of a specific treatment during the stages of disembarking and subsequent boarding of the passenger.

The third flap V3 comprises a first rectangular part P1 hereinafter called the fixing part, a second rectangular part P2 intended for entering information relating to the passenger and his journey or his displacement, and a third rectangular part P3 intended to support a self-adhesive label E, these three parts P1, P2, P3 being interconnected to form the third flap V3 by two lines D31, D32 of least resistance to tearing substantially parallel to each other and all perpendicular to the first and second lines D1, D2 respectively connecting the first component V1 to the brochure and the third component V3 to the second component V2.

The second part P2 for entering data or information comprises for example a set of lines LS for receiving in handwritten form data written by the passenger or holder of the brochure, and a pre-printed bar code IC corresponding to information unique identification form F ', or any other information recording system such as a magnetic strip or any information support system.

The third support part P3 includes a zone ZE designed to receive the self-adhesive label E which comprises, on its internal face, a suitable adhesive coating and on its external face, a main zone ZT intended to receive impressions of official stamp and, at the bottom of this main reception area ZT, a thin strip LR provided for subsequently allowing the connection of the second gripping part to the label E, as will be described below.

This reading allows the agent has direct access to the passenger's identity card and checks that the information on his passport matches the coded information printed on the second entry section P2. It should be noted that it can be envisaged, in the context of the present invention, that certain steps which have just been described can be reversed, in particular the steps of reading the coded information and detaching part of the third shutter. Furthermore, the self-adhesive label E is preferably manufactured in such a way that it can no longer be peeled off from a passport page or from any other document without causing damage or destruction of this page.

We will now describe, with reference to FIG. 2, a second embodiment of a brochure according to the invention, at the same time as a process of using this brochure, in an exemplary implementation for a service. state immigration control. A brochure 1 according to the invention containing useful information and advertisements includes a set of sheets 3 connected with a cover 5 by a binding 4 and among these sheets, a detachable sheet 10 connected to the brochure by a zone 2 of low resistance and including a form F reproducing for example a landing card usually distributed to foreign travelers about to enter a state. This form sheet 10 further comprises a zone 1 1 supporting a removable label 12, for example of the sticker type or of the repositionable type. The support area 1 1 can be treated to receive this type of label, in particular by being covered with a silicone coating.

The input fields 13 of the form F can be completed either within the brochure 1, or after having detached (I) the form F. The form F thus filled and detached is given (II) to a competent service for collecting the information IE handwritten, either by manual reading and typing, or by automatic typing by optical reading means. The information thus collected is then processed using generally external data extracted, for example from databases or electronic files. This processing provides information coded or partially coded IC including some of the information collected, and information associated with that information collected from external data sources. We can consider all kinds of information coding, for example in the form of bar codes, encrypted data, or OCRB codes.

This coded information IC, which is preferably stored, is then written (III) on the removable label 12 present on the support area 11, using conventional printing means suitable for the type of coding chosen. After processing the form sheet and entering the coded or partially coded information, it is then possible to remove (IV) the removable adhesive label 12 and fix it (V) on a specific page 20 of an official document. P held by the user of the form, for example a passport. The removable label consists of a thin film covered on its underside with an adhesive, the material constituting this thin film and the adhesive being chosen to cause, in the event of an attempt to remove the label after affixing on a document page, a deterioration of this label revealing this attempt.

It should be noted that provision can be made for part of the coded information to be written on the form sheet other than on the removable label 12, in particular to allow subsequent processing of the forms after their removable labels have been withdrawn. The form sheet can also be provided with authentication means such as a hologram, a watermark or any other available technique. A system for processing forms included in brochures according to the invention can be produced without difficulty from hardware and software components currently commercially available such as an optical document reading module, a central unit provided with recognition software. writing, processing and coding, a link to external resources, a storage unit, and a printing module.

Brochures according to the invention can be produced according to a manufacturing process using a combination of known and proven techniques. For a batch of brochures, form sheets are previously produced in a material which may be a paper with identical or different characteristics to that of the paper used for the other sheets of the brochure, or a carton with characteristics and dimensions suitable for the subsequent use of the form sheets. These Form 10 sheets are subject to several processing steps:

an impression of the form F, an embodiment of a zone of least resistance 2 provided to allow the form sheet to be detached, using for example a perforation technique,

a covering of a determined area of the form sheet 10 by a support layer 11 adapted to receive a removable adhesive label 12, for example by depositing a layer of silicone,

a deposition of a removable adhesive label 12 on the support layer 11, this deposition can be carried out in continuous or discontinuous mode according to known deposition techniques.

The form sheets F thus prepared are then inserted into each pack of sheets intended to be bound together within a cover 5, to produce brochures according to the invention.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the examples which have just been described and numerous modifications can be made to these examples without departing from the scope of the invention. Thus, the format and the thickness of the brochures according to the invention can be any. The same is true for the relative dimensions of the gripping zones and of the support zone of the removable adhesive label. The information written on the removable adhesive labels can be partially or fully coded using any available coding technique.

1.
