Abstract

The present patent refers to an industrial food processor designated to cut leaves in a symmetrical way and in great amount, developed to offer great performance, low production cost, modular, easy handling, and it could be automatic, semiautomatic or manual. The present food processor has a new concept in food preparation, it has as basic differential factor its modular units and blades or cut disks projected and designated to prick green vegetables symmetrically in great amount and having a structure where are mounted the modules and reservoir of vegetables, the frame (1) has axles (2 and 3), elastic rings (4), said frame (1) has directional furrows (female) in its lateral where the supports (5 and 6) of the cut disks (7) are fitted, and in the front part of the said frame (1) the axes (2 and 3) are mounted with the wheel bearings (8), prop covers (9), pulley (11), cotter (12), gear (13), cotter (14); having only one section for assembly one or several complete modules, where each module or section has the same supports (5 and 6) of the cut disks (7), clip device (16), separators (17), etc.

Description

"INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSOR"
The present patent refers to an industrial food processor designated to cut leaves in a symmetrical way and in great amount, developed to offer great performance, low production cost, modular, easy handling , and it could be automatic, semiautomatic or manual.
The present food processor has a new concept in food preparation , it has as basic differential factor its modular u nits and blades or cut d isks projected and designated to prick green vegetables symmetrically in great amount.
To reduce its production cost these modular units are attached in line using the same source of energy to improve the volume of processed foods. Each one of those modular u nits have fittings that allow the same patterns to be used in all the u nits or each one of them could have their own adjustments susceptible to specific arrangement for each purpose.
To allow a perfect visualization and an appropriate understanding of its operation, some illustrative figures are enclosed , where: Figure 1 represents a view in elevation ;
Figu re 2 represents a frontal view; and
Figure 3 represents a cut view according to the sections A/ A.
According with the figures 1 and 2 , the frame ( 1 ) is the structure where are mounted the modules and the containers for vegetables , it has in its frontal and back faces holes for assembly of the axles (2) and (3) and in these holes are fastened prop foils that will allow the assembly of elastic rings (4), which will limit the movements of the wheel bearings inside of the bearings, that have directional furrows in its lateral ones (female), where the supports (5) and (6) of the cut disks (7 ) are fit. I n the front part of the frame ( 1 ), the axles (2) and (3 ) are mounted . For better understanding of its operation, they have the following assembly sequence: Set u p the wheel bearings (8) with the elastic ring (4), prop cover (9), set up axles (2) in the front part of the frame ( 1 ).
The pulley ( 1 1 ) is mounted on the axles (2) with the cotter ( 1 2), the gear ( 13), the cotter ( 14), being the way of the tu rn of this axles (2) to the right. Beside the axles (2) the axles (3) are set up together with the gear ( 1 5) and the cotter (14), being its way of the tu rn cou nterclockwise or vice-versa. To facilitate the understanding of the equipment operation , it was shown in three sections or modules.
This equipment can be constructed with only one section for assembly of one module or several sections for assembly several complete modules, i.e. , each module or section being composed by the same supports (5) and (6) of the disks (7), clip device ( 16), separators (17), etc.
The section 3 shown in the present equipment is an optional device that basically consists of a vegetables reservoir ( 18), where there are mounted disks ( 19) to grate, to prick and to slice.
As well as the number of sections varies according with the project, the processor could have or not the section 3.
Each module (section) has a support (5), fixed side, and support (6), free side. Those pieces are manufactured preferably in foils, which are prepared in its sides allowing a perfect fitting in the directional fu rrows on the side of the frame (1 ). I n its frontal part holes are made for the axles assembly, and in the superior holes of the support (5) it is fastened the prop foil that will allow the assembly of the elastic rings (4) to limit the movements of the wheel bearings (8).
The torque of the axles (2) and (3) are passed to the other axles through the joining (20), fixation screw (21 ) and cotter (22). I n the assembly of the disks (7), the thickness of the cut will be defined through the placement of one or more separators ( 1 7) between the cut disks (7) and the clip cleaner device ( 16), i .e. , the thickness of the cut is according with the amou nt of separators that will be mou nted between the cut disk and the clip cleaner device ( 1 6). The function of the clip cleaner device (16) is to avoid that the cut food wind in the axles (2) and (3) and the same ones are guided to a collector located in the bottom part of the equipment.
If there are other modules (sections) to be mou nted , the procedure will be repeated and according with picture 2 in the back part of the frame the wheel bearing (2) is set u p.
The novelty, as exposed previously, is the series of blades where its teeth traction the food to be processed , mainly to prick green vegetables symmetrically in great quantity and the spacing between the cut disks (7) could be adjusted with rings or separator disks depend ing on the food and the proposes.
The cut disks (7) have special shape and geometry and its teeth borders were especially developed to block the slid ing and the chewing of the food . I n the enclosed drawings the cover of the processor is not illustrated . It is a necessary device to the maxim safety of its operation and at the same time to protect the user's hand .
Other technical advantages related to the existent and known equipments are mainly the possibility of one or multiple aligned sections, cut disks (7) with mechanical set (crank, etc. ), electric or automatic (electronic), being able to include or not food presence sensor.
Besides the exposed advantages, the present equipment can be placed in series in a production line, as for instance coupled to a belt carrier coming from a wash tank and scale .

Claims

C L A I M S
1. "INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSOR", characterized by having an structure where are mounted the modules and reservoir of vegetables, the frame (1 ) has axles (2) and (3), elastic rings (4), said frame (1 ) has directional furrows (female) in its lateral where the supports (5) and (6) of the cut disks (7) are fit, and in the front part of the said frame (1 ) the axes (2) and (3) are mounted with the wheel bearings (8), prop covers (9), pulley (11 ), cotter (12), gear (13), cotter (14); having only one section for assembly one or several complete modules, where each module or section has the same supports (5) and (6) of the cut disks
(7), clip device (16), separators (17), etc.
2. "INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSOR", according with claim 1 , characterized by the rotating movements of the axles (2) to the right side and the axis (3) in inverse way.
3. "INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSOR", according with claim 1 , characterized by the torque of the axes (2) and (3) being sent to the other axles by the joining (20), screw (21 ) and cotter (22).
4. "INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSOR", according with claim 1 , characterized by the cut width be defined by the placement of one or more separators (17) between the cut disks (7) and the clip cleaner device (16).
5. "INDUSTRIAL FOOD PROCESSOR", according with claim 1 , characterized by the section 3, optional, be a reservoir of vegetables (18), where are mounted the disks (19) to grate, prick and slice.
