Abstract

Procédé permettant à un deuxième serveur d'être témoin d'une transaction sur un réseau informatique entre un client et un premier serveur et de confirmer cette transaction, le client et le premier serveur étant d'accord sur l'identité du deuxième serveur. Le premier serveur renvoie au client une page Web comprenant une instruction d'établissement de session avec le deuxième serveur. Le client établit ensuite cette deuxième session avec le deuxième serveur. Le client envoie une transaction simultanément au premier serveur et au deuxième serveur. Le premier serveur renvoie ensuite un enregistrement de la transaction au client. Le deuxième serveur extrait l'enregistrement de la transaction et détermine sa conformité à des règles prédéterminées concernant la validité de ce type de transaction. Le deuxième serveur renvoie un accusé réception au client. Le premier serveur extrait cet accusé réception du client et le mémorise. De plus, après l'établissement de la session avec le premier serveur, une confirmation visuelle peut être affichée sous forme d'une représentation partielle d'un symbole de validation au client. Une fois que la session avec le deuxième serveur est établie, une confirmation visuelle mise à jour est affichée sous forme d'une représentation encore incomplète du symbole de validation et après la confirmation de la transaction par le deuxième serveur, une confirmation visuelle mise à jour est affichée sous forme d'un symbole de validation complet.
